Data discs are meant to be used on a comput er , such as a M ac or a PC. Y ou can use a data disc to back up import a nt information, to store your photos, or to sha re files with friends o r family .

R emoving a file from the T oast window does not delete the file from y our hard disk, but only on the finished disc that you are cr eating.

This is the best choice fo r sharing files and folders with most comput er users. T o make a Mac & PC disc: 1 At the left side of the T oast window , click Data an d choose Mac & PC.

This disc format is b est if you hav e a VIDEO_TS folder and wish to add additional DVD-ROM data co ntent.

ISO 9660- compliant systems such as DOS or UNIX will only see the ISO 9660 file syste m. W hen you select Joliet, T oast does not automatically change file names.

V ideo discs are meant to be played in a set-top pla yer , and can also be used in a Macint osh or W indow s computer with a DV D or Blu-ray pla yer and appropriate software.
