1 Y our cooker should giv e you many years of trouble-free cooking if installed and operated correctly . It is impor tant that you read this section befor e you start, par ticularly if you have not used a dual fuel cooker bef ore. Impor tant! CAUTION: This appliance is for c ooking purp oses only .
2 When the ov ens are on, DO NOT open the doors for longer than necessary to insert and remove conten ts. The control knobs will become hot and may cause cosmetic failur e. When using the grill, mak e sure that the grill pan is in position and pushed fully in, otherwise the control knobs ma y become very hot.
3 2. C o ok er Overview The 110 dual fuel cooker (F ig. 2.1) has the follo wing features: A. 5 hotplate burners including a wok burner and warmer B. A control panel C. Multifunction oven D. F an oven E. Storage dra wer Hotplat e Burners The drawing b y each of the central knobs indicates which burner that knob controls.
4 If, when y ou let go of the control knob, the burner goes out, then the FSD has not been bypassed. T urn the control knob to the OFF position and wait for one minut e before you try again, this time making sure to hold in the control knob for slightly longer .
5 The W ok Cradle (Optional extra) The wok cradle is desig ned to t a Prof essional 35 cm wok. If you use a dier ent wok, make sure that it ts the cradle. Woks vary ver y widely in size and shape. It is impor tant that the wok sits down on the pan support – however , if it is too small, the cradle will not support the wok properly (Fig .
6 W armer On the right of the hob is the warmer (Fig . 2.15) . Use the warmer for keeping f ood warm while the nal touches are put to a meal. T urn the control knob counter-clock wise to the ‘On ’ position. F or best results, preheat a c overed serving dish for 10 minutes before adding f ood to it.
7 F an Assisted Oven This function operates the fan, circulating air hea ted by the elements at the top and the base of the o ven. The combination of fan and con ventional cooking (top and base heat) makes this function ideal for cooking large items that need thor ough cook ing, such as a lar ge meat roast.
8 Operating the Ov ens Operating the multifunction oven The multifunction oven has two contr ols: a func tion selector and a temperatur e setting k nob (Fig . 2.16) . T urn the function selec tor contr ol to a cooking func tion. Fig . 2.17 shows the contr ol set for conv ec tional oven c ook ing.

10 6. If you are out, do not worry about the beeper going o , it stops after a while. When you return, turn the oven knob to 0 rst, and then press [ B ] twice to return to manual cooking. Reset to Manual C ooking T o return to manual cooking from any aut omatic setting, the ‘ cook period’ must be cancelled.
11 Ac cessories Oven Shelv es The oven shelv es (Fig . 2.35) can be easily removed and retted . Pull the shelf f or ward until the back of the shelf is stopped by the shelf stop bumps in the oven sides (F ig. 2.36) . Lift up the front of the shelf so the back of the shelf will pass under the shelf stop and then pull the shelf forward (Fig .
12 Remove the trivet fr om the pan and position the rack at the height of the centre of the o ven. Use the fan or conv entional oven settings and f ollow the guide time in the cooking char t for roasting . Only use the supplied pan in the Handygrill rack – an y other vessel could be unstable .
13 Stor age The bottom dra wer is for storing oven tr ays and other cooking utensils. It can get ver y warm, so do not store an ything in it that may melt or catch re . Never store ammable materials in the drawer . This includes paper , plastic and cloth items, such as cookbooks, plastic ware and to wels, as well as ammable liquids.

17 C ontrol P anel and Doors Av oid using any abrasive cleaners including cream cleaners . F or best results, use a liquid detergen t. The same cleaner can be used on the doors or alternatively , using a soft cloth wrung out in clean hot soapy water – but take care that no surplus water seeps in to the appliance.
18 Cleaning T able Cleaners listed (T able 5.1) are available from supermarkets or electrical retailers as stated. F or enamelled sur faces use a cleaner that is approved f or use on vitreous enamel. Regular cleaning is recommended. F or easier cleaning, wipe up any spillages immediately .
19 Hotplate ignition or hotplat e burners faulty Is the power on? Is the clock illuminat ed? If not, there maybe something wrong with the po wer supply . Are the sparker (ignition electrode) or burner slots blocked by debris? Are the burner trim and caps correctly located? See the section on ‘Cleaning’ .
20 An ov en light is not working The bulb has probably burnt out. Y ou can buy a replacement bulb (which is not c overed under the warranty) from a good electrical shop. Ask f or a 15 W – 230 V lamp , FOR OVENS. It must be a special bulb, heat resistant to 300 °C (Fig .

After conv ersion the installation must comply with the relevant r egulations and also the local elec tricity supply company r equirements.
28 Pressur e T esting Connect the appliance to the gas supply . Check the appliance is gas sound. The gas pressur e can be measured at one of the left-hand hotplate burner jets. Lift o a burner head. F it the pressure gauge to the jet. Turn on and light one of the other burners with a match.
