1 Y our cooker should give y ou many years of trouble-free cooking if installed and operated correctly . It is impor tant that you read this section befor e you start, par ticularly if you have not used a dual fuel cooker bef ore. Impor tant! CAUTION: This appliance is for c ooking purp oses only .
2 When the ov ens are on, DO NOT open the doors for longer than necessary to insert and remove conten ts. The control knobs will become hot and may cause cosmetic failur e. When using the grill, mak e sure that the grill pan is in position and pushed fully in, otherwise the control knobs ma y become very hot.
3 The 110 dual fuel cooker (F ig. 2.1) has the follo wing features: A. 6 hotplate burners including 2 wok burners B. Control panel C. Glide -out grill D. Multifunction oven E. F an oven F. 4 The igniter should spark and light the gas . Keep holding the knob pressed in to let the gas through to the burner for about ten seconds. If, when y ou let go of the control knob, the burner goes out, then the FSD has not been bypassed.
5 The W ok Cradle The wok cradle is desig ned to t a Prof essional 35 cm wok. If you use a dier ent wok, make sure that it ts the cradle. Woks vary ver y widely in size and shape. It is impor tant that the wok sits down on the pan support – however , if the wok is too small, the cradle will not support it properly (Fig .
6 The Glide -out Grill Open the door and pull the grill pan carriage forward using the handle (Fig . 2.15) . The grill has two elements that allo w either the whole area of the pan to be heated or just the right-hand half . Adjust the heat to suit b y turning the control knob.
7 F an Oven This function operates the fan and the heating element around it. An ev en heat is produced throughout the ov en, allowing you to cook large amounts quickly . F an oven cooking is particularly suitable for bak ing on several shelves at one time and is a good ‘ all-round’ function.
8 Browning Element This function uses the element in the top of the oven only . It is a useful func tion for the bro wning or nishing of pasta dishes, vegetables in sauc e, shepherds pie and lasagne , the item to be browned being already hot befor e switching to the top element.

17 C ontrol P anel and Doors Av oid using any abrasive cleaners including cream cleaners . F or best results, use a liquid detergen t. The same cleaner can also be used on the doors, or alternatively , using a sof t cloth wrung out in clean hot soapy water – but take care tha t no surplus water seeps into the appliance.
18 Cleaning T able Cleaners listed (T able 5-1) are available fr om supermarkets or electrical retailers as stated. F or enamelled sur faces use a cleaner that is approved f or use on vitreous enamel. Regular cleaning is recommended. F or easier cleaning, wipe up any spillages immediately .
21 Hotplate ignition or hotplat e burners faulty Is the power on? Is the clock illuminat ed? If not, there maybe something wrong with the po wer supply . Are the sparker (ignition electrode) or burner slots blocked by debris? Are the burner trim and caps correctly located? See the section on ‘Cleaning’ .
