Contact you r PSC dealer for informat ion if you have question s about your scanner ’ s hardware compatibility .

6 Powe rSc an ™ Sc anner Pr ogramming Ov erview The scanner ’ s programmable fea ture settin gs can be mod if ie d to accommodate your system ’ s unique r equirements. These settings can be communicated to the scanner in one of two ways: 1. Commands can be sent directly from the host.
Prog ramming Guide 7 Programming Sess ion A typical programming session is con d ucted as follows: 1. Scan the SET bar co de at the beginning of each set of program- ming bar codes to place the scanner in Programming Mode.
8 Powe rSc an ™ Sc anner 3. Scan the END label at the bottom of the page to save any new settings and exit Programm ing M ode. The s canner will sound a beep and r eset upon exiting Programming Mode, an d the green LED wi ll return to its usual state (on stead y or off).
