9 Right Side V iew 1. V olume Control Used to adjust the volume of the headphone and speaker . 2. Headphone Jack Used to connect headphones for private listening. When the headphones are connected to this jack, the speaker will be turned off automatically .
10 1. Rechargeable Battery Contact s For connecting the rechargeable battery pack. 2. Docking Jack This portable DVD player is equipped with a Docking Jack. The Docking Jack is designed for connecting to external Do cking S tation to get more expanded functions.
11 Revolving S teps The revolving LCD screen is one of the out st anding features about this product. We’d like to suggest you to take the following steps for proper operation. A 1. Open the screen cover to position (A) as shown in the left figure at which the screen is vertical to the operation panel.
12 z Always ensure that the DVD player , TV and any other electrical equipment to be connected with are switched off and unplugged from the power supply .
13 Connecting to External A V Signal Source This player can be connected to an A V signal input source such as a video cassette player , video game etc. Use the audio/vi deo cable to connect the pla yer and the external A V signal source. After connecting, switch the A V IN/DVD switch to A V IN.
14 Using the AC Adapter The player is supplied with an AC adapt er for powering the unit and charging the battery . Note: T urn pla yer's pow er off before unplug ging. Note: In the case of using the a dapter , the LCD screen w ill be brighter than with the rechargeable batter y .
15 About Rechargeable Ba ttery Pack Y our portable DVD pla y er comes with a lithium ion rechargeable battery that at t aches to the rear of the DVD player . Charge the battery fully before initial use. Charging time is normally about 5 hours. A fully charged batt ery delivers about 3 hours of use, but playing time varies from disc to disc.
16 Attaching the Battery Pack Refer to the following steps to attach the Battery Pack: 1. Place the DVD Player on a soft and smooth surface with the bottom of the unit facing up.
17 Detaching the Battery Pack If the DVD Player is not going t o be used for long periods of time, the battery pack should first be fully charged and then detached. When the DVD Pla yer is turned OFF , the DVD Player is still consuming some power in ST ANDB Y mode.

Note: The last memory is referred to the state that if you press P WR button, or open th e disc tray cover by accident but still keep th e disc in during playback, th en when you st art playback again, the player w ill begin play ing from where you are left of f.
