Preparation 05 18 En Tidying the speaker cables ( PDP-508XDA only) Use the supplied bead bands as ne cessary to tid y the speaker cables. Note • When tidying up your speaker cables, make sure to bundle them so that they are not subjected to any pressure.
Prepara tion 05 19 En Operating range of the remote control unit Operate the remo te control unit while pointing it toward the r emote control sensor located at the botto m right of the front panel of the plasma television.
Watching TV 06 20 En Chapter 6 Watching TV Important • Before watching broadcast chan nels, the built-in TV tuner must be set up. See Setting up TV chan nels automatically on page 27 for how to do this. Turning the power on • Press a on the plasma televi sion when the POWER ON and STANDBY indicators are off.
Watching TV 06 21 En Note • You can select “Auto” , “High”, “Mid” or “Low” for t he brightness of the POWER ON indicator. When “Au to” is selected, the brightness of the indicator ch anges to “High”, “M id” or “Low” to match the brightness level of the viewing area.

Use either an S-Video or standard video cable for the video sign al. Use a stereo audio cable for the audi o.
