47 Chapter 6 Out of Band Operation Overview In case the network goes down, or the SN0108 / SN0116 cannot be accessed with the usual browser based method for some other reason, the SN0108 / SN0116 can be reached via several additional Out of Band (OOB) methods.

Devices connected to this type of virtual port appear as if they were directly conn ected to a COM port on the local computer.
