14 1 Getting Started If you in tend to use the L CD monit or for a lon g time or connect t he camera t o a PC, use of the AC a dapter D-AC5 (optio nal) is recomm ended. 1 Connect the DC terminal on the AC adapter to the DC input terminal on the camera.

16 1 Getting Started Data Backup Very occasionally, dat a stored in the B uilt-in memory becomes unreadable. As a backup measure, we recommend that y ou download important dat a to a PC or store the data in a media ot her than the Built-in memory.

Press the po wer switch ag ain to turn the camera off. When the came ra is turne d on an d the Bu ilt-in memory is being us ed, @ a ppears on t he LCD monitor.
