Selecti ng sounds Sel ect t he sounds for t he thre e parts you c an play on the k eyboar d — RIGHT 1 , RIGHT 2 and LE FT . After firs t sel ectin g a pa rt and a SO UND GRO UP , choo se t he des ired s ound fro m the dis play. Select a sound 1. In th e PART SELECT section, choose RIGHT 1 , RIG HT 2 or LE FT .
3. Use the ∧ an d ∨ buttons to sel ect a GROUP of sou nd. 4. Use the b uttons on bot h side of the d isplay to select the sound. • The n umeric al v alue that is di spla yed f or eac h sound is the MIDI [BANK MSB, LSB]-PRO- GRA M CHANG E number.

TREMO LO Tr emolo is a ra pid osc illat ion in volume, lik e the eff ect of a rotati ng spe aker. The tre molo spe ed can be cha nged whi le you ar e playi ng. • The SOUND DSP (ROTARY SPEAKER/ ROCK ROTARY) is used for the trem olo effect . This effect does no t work if the SOUND DSP butt on is t urned off.
Assigni ng parts to the keybo ard The CONDUCTOR b uttons are used to assig n the par ts ( RI GHT 1 , RIGHT 2 , LEFT ) to t he k eyboar d i n many di ffe rent ways . For exa mple, you can sp lit the k eyboar d int o righ t and left sect ions ( SPLIT ), and assi gn a dif feren t so und to e ach sect ion.
SPLIT PO IN T When the k eyboar d is div ided into l eft and right sect ions , the spli t poi nt i s in dicate d by the li t in- dic ator. SOUN D DSP The SOUND DSP wo rks like a st udio effects pro - cessor, providing e ffects such as CHORUS, PHASER, DELAY and DISTORT ION. • There ar e fi ve SOUND DS P grou ps, cons isti ng of thre e for RI GHT 1, RIG HT 2 and LEFT, and two f or the aut omati c accom panim ent or SEQUENCER .
Effects (G LOB AL) You can ap ply eff ects t o the w hole in stru ment . RE VERB REVERB ap plies a rever ber atio n effec t to t he sou nd. Press the REVERB butt o n to tur n it on. Type a nd parame ter sett ings 1. Press and ho ld the REVERB button for a f ew seconds.
