8 Operating Precautions Precautions Pe r taining to the Battery Caution: • Charge only with specified charger. • Charge the Battery within an ambient temperature range of 50 F (10 ° C) and 86 F (30 ° C). • The Battery may be warm after charging or just after use.
9 Bef ore Use Operating Precautions Card Data Protection (Refer to page 10 for details on compatib le cards.) • Do not unplug the AC adaptor or disconnect the USB cab le connecting a PC while this unit is in operation. • Do not remov e the card while it is being accessed.
10 Digital cameras that are compliant with DCF specifications use folders with a specific str ucture. The following diagr am shows an example of the folder structure. If these f olders are deleted, or if a folder name or file name is changed, the data may no longer be readable by a digital camera.
11 Bef ore Use Bef ore Using Copying and Bac kup Cop ying: Memor y Card -> PC Card HDD When copying from a Memory Card to the PC Card HDD , create a folder entitled “ CARD**** ” for each cop y and save Memor y Card data into this folder .

13 Bef ore Use Selecting Modes Copy Mode (pp. 19~23) Copy mode is used to cop y data from the inser ted card to another card. In addition, you can press MENU to carry out operations such as checking the card storage capacity , making backup and TV format settings and formatting cards.

16 Recharging the Battery P ack The batter y pack can be recharged right inside this unit using the supplied A C adaptor. Unit power m ust be turned OFF before recharging. Char ging will stop if unit power is turned on. 1 Slide the battery cover slightly to the right and swing open.
