12 VQT0N05 1 Open the Car d/Battery Door at the bottom of this unit. • Slide th e Door and the n open it. 2 Insert/remo ve the battery or the card. • Read the ne xt page carefully . 3 Close the Car d/Battery Door . • Close the Door and then loc k it while sliding.

17 VQT0N05 ∫ Battery indicato r ≥ It is displayed on the LCD Monitor (P93) when this unit is t urned on. ≥ As the rem aining battery power is decreased, the indicator is changed as >> (blinking). When the indicator is shown as (blinking), the battery will be e xhausted in a fe w minutes.

The shutter speed becomes slow in dark places such as shaded areas or in a room.

34 VQT0N05 1 Slide the M a cr o Switch to the left. ≥ We recommend recording t he same picture several time and choosing a well-f ocused pict ure. ≥ If you do not record pictures with macro function, slide the Macro Switch back to the right. 1 Rotate the L ens.
