It is important not to defeat or tamper with the safety interlocks.

4 8. Liquids and foods must not be heated in sealed containers since they are liable to explode. 9. T ake CAUTION when sliding out the Metal Pan from the rails, do not let the Metal Pan rest half way on the rails inside the oven. The rails inside the oven are not designed with a stop-lock and the rails can not hold the Metal Pan.
5 Examine Y our Oven Unpack oven, remove all packing material and examine the oven for any damage such as dents, broken door latches or cracks in the door . Notify dealer immediately if oven is damaged. DO NOT install if oven is damaged. Placement of Oven 1.
6 Grounding Instructions THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE GROUNDED. In the event of an electrical short circuit, grounding reduces the risk of electric shock by providing an escape wire for the electric current. This appliance is equipped with a cord having a grounding wire with a grounding plug.
7 Follow These Safety Precautions When Cooking in Y our Oven. IMPORT ANT Proper cooking depends upon the power , the time setting and quantity of food. If you use a smaller portion than recommended but cook at the time for the recommended portion, fi re could result.
8 8) THERMOMETERS • DO NOT use a conventional meat thermometer in your oven. Arcing may occur . Microwave safe thermometers are available for both meat and candy . 9) BABY FORMULA / BABY FOOD • DO NOT heat baby formula or baby food in the microwave oven.
9 Drip T ray 1. Before using the oven, place the drip tray in position. Holding with both hands, snap into position on the two front oven feet. 2. The purpose of the drip tray is to collect excess water during Microwave with Steam mode. It should always be emptied after Microwave with Steam operation.

13 Beep Sound: When a pad is pressed correctly , a beep sound will be heard. If a pad is pressed and no beep is heard, the unit did not or could not accept the instruction. The oven will beep twice between programmed stages. At the end of any completed program, the oven will beep 5 times.

16 Setting the Clock Example: T o set clock for "1 1:25". 1. • Press Timer/Clock pad twice. 2. • Rotate the Time/Serving/W eight dial to set the current time "1 1:25". 3. • Press Timer/Clock pad once. Notes: 1. T o reset the clock, repeat step 1-3.
17 Selecting Microwave Power and Cooking T ime Method 1: Display Window 1. Press 5 times • Press Microwave pad until the desired power level appears in the display window . 2. • Rotate the T ime/Serving/Weight dial to set cooking time (1 minute and 30 seconds ).

21 This feature combines steam and microwave power . Example: T o cook at microwave with steam for 5 minutes. 1. • Press Microwave with Steam pad once. 2. • Rotate the Time/Serving/W eight dial to set 5 minutes. (Maximum time is 15 minutes.) 3. • Press Start button.
22 Steam Shot Feature This feature allows you add steam during Bake cooking (up to 3 minutes). Example: Add 1 minute Steam during Bake cooking. 1. • Bake cooking. 2. • Press and hold for 2 seconds, 1 minute of steam shot will be added 3. • If you want to add 3 minutes steam, press Microwave with Steam pad twice within 5 seconds after step 2.
23 T imer Setting T o set Kitchen Timer: Example: T o count down 5 minutes. 1. • Press once to select "Timer". 2. • Set time as 5 minutes by using Time/Serving/W eight dial. (up to 90 minutes) 3. • Press Start button. ³ T ime will count down without oven operating.
24 This feature allows you to add or reduce the cooking time during Microwave, Combination, Bake setting. T urning the dial will count up in 1 minute. Example: T o cook at P8 power for 5 minutes, add 3 more minutes during the cooking. 1. • Press Microwave pad 3 times to select P8 power .
25 Food Characteristics Bone and Fat Both bone and fat affect cooking. Bones may cause irregular cooking. Meat next to the tips of bones may overcook while meat positioned under a large bone, such as a ham bone, may be undercooked. Large amounts of fat absorb microwave energy and the meat next to these areas may overcook.
26 Cooking T echniques (continued) T urning It is not possible to stir some foods to distribute the heat evenly . At times, microwave energy will concentrate in one area of the food. T o help ensure even cooking, these foods need to be turned. T urn over large foods, such as roasts or turkeys, halfway through cooking.
27 Auto Menu Feature This feature allows you to cook certain menus by setting their serving size/weight. It will cook automatically without you setting power and cooking time.
