- 32 - Inserting/removing an SD c ard Caution: Check that the status indicator has gone o f f. 1 Open the re ar door . When usi ng an SD c ar d not f rom Pan as onic, o r on e previo usly used on other equip ment, for the firs t time on th is unit, f ormat the SD card.
- 33 - 2 Insert (remove ) the SD card into (from) the card slot. 3 Close the rea r door . ≥ Face the lab el s ide A in the directi on shown in the illustrat io n and press it straight in as far as it will g o. ≥ Press the cen ter of t he SD card and the n pull it strai ght out.

- 36 - About St an dby Mode When the LCD moni t or is closed while t he unit is on, the un it enters S tandby Mode which cons ume s very lit tle power . S tandby Mode all ows pictures to be recorded as soon as the LCD monitor is opened . Se tting [QUICK ST ART] to [ON] will allow the device to switch to Recording S tandby S tat us even fa st er .
- 37 - About the high tempe rature warni ng icon If th e batte ry tempe rature or unit intern al t emperature (ex cluding b attery) rises, the high temper ature warni ng icon will provide warning as indicat ed below .
