Record mode 20 Recording yourself You can rec ord yourself while v iewing the LCD m onitor. You can record per sons in front of the camera while presenting them the image. The image is horizontally flipped as if y ou see a mirror image. (The image to be recorded is the same as that recording.
Record mode 21 Soft skin mode This allows the skin color to be r e corded in a softer tone. This is more effective if you record the bust image of a person. ≥ Set to Tape Recording Mode. 1 Press the [ENTER] button until the icon 1 appears. 2 Press the [ 4 ] button to select t he soft skin icon [ ].
Record mode 22 Recording images for wide-screen TVs This allows you t o record images compatible with wide-screen TVs. Cinema Functi on Images are recorded with a black belt appearing al ong the top and bottom of the screen so that they l ook like theater movies.
Record mode 23 Recording in natura l colors (White balanc e) The automatic white balance function may not reproduce natural colors depending on the scenes or l ighting conditions. If so, you can adjus t the white balance manually. ≥ Set to Tape Recording Mode.

Others 36 When normal playback cannot be p erformed even after the head cleaning One possible cause is that normal reco rding could not be performed because the heads were dirty at the time of recording. Clean the heads, and perform recording and playback again.
