Preparation 10 VQT1 F83 26 [DC IN] socket (P111, 113) • Alwa ys use a genuine P anasonic AC adaptor (DMW-AC7PP; optional). • This camera cannot charge the batter y ev en though the AC adaptor (DMW-A C7PP; optional) is connected to it.
Preparatio n 11 VQT1F 83 • Attach the strap to the other side of the camera being careful not to twist it. • Check that the str ap is firmly attached to the camera. • Attach the strap so that the “L UMIX ” LOGO is on the outside. • We r ecommend attaching the strap when using the camera to pre vent it from dropping.
Preparation 12 VQT1 F83 • Y ou cannot attach the lens hood the opposite wa y . • When taking pictures with flash with t he lens hood attached, the lo wer por tion of the photo may turn dar k (vignetting eff ect) and the control of the f lash may be disabled because the photo f lash may be obscured by the lens hood.
