27 VQT1 V73 Preparatio n Selecting the [REC] Mode When the [ REC] mode is s elected, the camera can be set to the Int elligent auto mode in which the optimal settings are established in line with the subject to be recorded and the recording conditions, or to the Sc ene mode which enables you to take pictures that match the scene being recorded.

VQT1 V73 34 Basic ∫ Extended op tical zoom mechan ism When you set the picture size to [ ] (3 million pixels), the 10M (10.1 million pixels) (DMC-FS7)/8M (8.1 million pixels) (DMC-FS6) CCD area is cropped t o the center 3M (3 million pixels) area, allowing a picture with a higher zoom effect.

VQT1 V73 78 Advanced (Pl ayback) DPOF “Digital Print Order Format” is a system t hat allows the user to select which pictures to print, how many copies of each picture t o print and whether or not to print the recording date on the pictures when using a DPOF compat ible photo printer or photo printing store.
