7 Introduction Overview This unit is a controller which is designed to control remote cameras. It can be used to control up to 100 remote cameras when IP connections are used, and up to 5 remote cameras when serial connections are used.
8 Features IP connections and serial connections supported IP connections Up to 100 remote cameras *1 can be controlled via a network hub (switching hub). The unit’s auto IP setting function can be used to automatically assign and control the IP addresses of the remote cameras *1 and switcher *2 .

13 5 F1 dial [F1] F2 dial [F2] Use these to operate the menus of the unit or the OSD menu of a remote camera. Use the CAMERA OSD button ( 4 ) to select which operation to perform.

19 Basic operations of the unit 1. T urn on the unit’ s power. Set the POWER switch to the ON position. Power is supplied to the unit, and the POWER indicator turns on.
20 Basic operations for the menus 1. Set the MENU button to ON. Press the MENU button to turn on its indicator . 2. Select the target menu. Press any of the number buttons [21] to [50] to turn on its indicator . The selected menu is displayed on the LCD panel.

27 Network settings of the unit T o control a remote camera connected via an IP connection from the unit, you need to set the network settings of the unit. Correct operation is not possible if the same IP address already exists in the same network.
