11 Preface About this guide This guide provides inf or mation about system logging, displaying system statistics, and configuring network monitor ing on the Nor tel Ether net Switch 460 and Nor tel Ether net Switch 470.
12 Preface Y ou can use any generic SNMP-based netw ork management software to configure and manage Ethernet Switches 460 and 470. • T elnet T elnet allows y ou to access the CLI and CI men u and screens locally using an in-band T elnet session.
