- 1 - INTRODUCTI ON Thank you for purc hasing a Quadra/FX a nd congratu latio ns! You n ow ow n one of the m ost sophis ticated pieces of audio signa l-proces sing tech nolog y availab le.

- 6 - QUADR A /F X FRONT P A NE L CONTR OLS & INDIC A TORS - ROT ARY ENCODER / SWITCH The Rotar y Encoder is us ed to cha nge va lues or pr esets. D epend ing on the Quadr a/FX ’s programm ing m ode, it m ay also be press ed to chan ge m enus.
- 7 - & ENGINE BUTTON The Quadra/FX contains up to four audio s ignal pr ocessor s, or engin es. Pres sing th is button and turni ng the Encod er will s elect an eng ine for editing ( the selec ted eng ine LED will flash). Depe nding on the current rout ing, one or more engine L EDs may flash.
- 8 - ) P A RAMETER BUTTON W hen you press the Parameter button, the LEDs for all a vaila ble param eters of the current en gine’s eff ect are lit. The cur rentl y selected param eter LED flas hes and its value is dis played in the Preset / Valu e window.

- 11 - NOTE: W ith Dry Kill active, a preset’s Mix par ameter now sets th e level of al l sound c oming ou t of the Quadra/FX . For example, with a Mix s ettin g of 0, no s ound will com e out of the unit (i n other words, zero percent of the wet signal is allowe d to pass) .
- 12 - MIDI Dump By perform ing a MIDI Dump, you can save all of the Quadr a/FX’s pr esets to an exter nal dev ice capab le of recording MIDI da ta. You c an even dir ectl y transfer the presets f rom one Quadra/F X to an other on e with a MIDI cable.

It does n’t take long and you’ll see how eas y edit ing is d ue to the Q uadra/F X’s i ntuiti ve la yout. - 16 - Cascad e Cascade ro uting also has two process ors with two linked engines, but the outp ut of th e first pr ocessor is fed in to the secon d one. In th is rout ing, you have t wo stack ed, true-ster eo effec ts. Onl y Inputs an d Outputs #1 and # 2 are used.
