This manual co vers the door-type dishw asher , Models MH-60, MH-6N, MH-6L. Y our machine w as completely assemb led , inspected , and thoroughl y tested at our factor y before it w as shipped to your installation site.
GENERAL MODEL NUMBERS MH-60, MH-6N , MH-6L The MH-60 model is a high temperature (180°F/82°C rinse) sanitizing model with booste r . The MH-6N model is a high temperature (180°F/82°C rinse) sanitizing model without booster . The MH-6L is a lo w temperature (Min.

INST ALLA TION 8 W ater Connections (Cont.) 2. A manual shut-of f v alve for steam and w ater (supplied b y others) should be installed in the suppl y line to allo w for servicing of the machine. The shut-off v alve should be the same size or lar ger than the suppl y line.
COMMON RINSE DETERGENT INST ALLA TION 9 INST ALLA TION (Cont.) Chemical Connections NO TE: Consult a qualif ied chemical supplier for your c hemical needs. Refer to Fig. 8 1. A chemical signal terminal block is supplied for chemical dispensing equipment.
INST ALLA TION 10 Chemical Connections (Cont.) Refer to Fig. 10 5. A 1/2" deter gent probe injection point is pro vided at the rear and left side of the dishw asher . 6. Deter gent ma y be added manually if your dishw asher is not equipped with dispensing equipment.
INITIAL ST AR T -UP 11 Install the Scrap Screens and Drain-Overflow Assemb ly Install scrap screens. Make sure rubber stopper is secure on the drain-o verflo w assembl y . Make sure the drain-o verflo w seats securel y in the tank bottom. MAKE SURE DOORS ARE FULL Y CLOSED.
INITIAL ST AR T -UP 12 Chec k W ash W ater T emperature The w ash tank heater and the (booster tank heater , MH-60 only) will begin to heat the w ater in the dishwasher . W ait approximatel y 10 minutes for the wash tank w ater to reach operating temperature.
INITIAL ST AR T -UP 13 Full y close the dishwasher doors. The dishw asher will begin the automatic cycle. Opening the doors an ytime during the cycle will stop the dishw asher .
INITIAL ST AR T -UP 14 Chec k Final Rinse W ater T emperature Check the f inal rinse w ater temperature during the f inal rinse cycle. The f inal rinse w ater temperature gauge is located in the f inal rinse piping at the top of the dishw asher . The f inal rinse w ater temperature should be a minimum of 180°F/82°C for (MH-60, MH-6N).
INITIAL ST AR T -UP 15 The Extended W ash Operation The extended w ash switch holds the dishw asher in a continuous wash mode for cleaning hea vil y soiled ware. Open and then full y close the dishwasher doors. The dishwasher will be gin a wash cycle automaticall y .
INITIAL ST AR T -UP 16 Drain the dishwasher (Cont.) Be sure the drain-o verflo w seal is secure on the drain-o verflo w assembl y . Remo ve the scrap screens and check the drain located in the bottom of the dishw asher w ash tank. Make sure that the building drain handles the w ater flo w exiting the dishw asher .
OPERA TION SUMMAR Y 1. Push the On/Of f po wer s witch “UP” to the ON position. Dishw asher f ills automaticall y . 2. W ait approximatel y 10 minutes for the w ash tank heater to heat the water . Then, check the reading on the w ash water temperature gauge.
CLEANING 18 CLEANING Cleaning your machine is the best maintenance that y ou can pro vide. Components that are not regularl y flushed and cleaned do not perfor m well. The follo wing schedules are the minimum requirements necessar y for the proper perfor mance of your machine.
CLEANING 19 Deliming Y our dishwasher should be delimed re gularly depending on the mineral content of y our w ater . Inspect the machine interior for mineral deposits and use a deliming solution for the best cleaning results. NO TE: Consult your chemical supplier f or an appr opriate deliming solution.

BASIC SER VICE 23 Electrical Service (Cont.) Fuses — Refer to Fig. 12. There are tw o fuse blocks. A 3 pole block (A) is located in the main control cabinet. The (A) fuses protect the w ash tank heater circuit. Booster heater circuits (MH-60 onl y) are not fused.
