1 1 Introduction A spec ial f eature of Mits ubishi Electr ic Cor porat ion’s “Centra l Contro ller G -50A” a nd "C entral Contr oller GB-50A" are tha t a PC c onnec ted to a LAN ca n be used to m onitor the oper atio n condit ion of a ir condi tioners , perform air c onditioner oper ations, and m ake initia l sett ings.
2 2 Setting the Operating Env i ronment Given below is an expl anation of the PC setti ngs and web bro wser setti ngs that are req uired f or using a web browser to m onitor air con ditioner u nits and perfor m oper ations.

7 4 Initial Settings 4-1 Setting t he Curr ent Date and Time Click [Initial Se ttings] i n the m enu, and [Date and T ime] sc reen will appe ar on the s creen. Enter the curren t date and tim e, and then pre ss the [Sav e Settings ] butto n to send t he current date a nd tim e to G-50A.
8 4-2 Setting t he Basic Inf ormation a nd External I nput Func tions Displa y the page n eeded t o per form the G -50A basic setting b y click ing [In itial Sett ings]-[ Basic S ystem ] in the setting m enu pane. On t his page , you per f orm the bas ic s etting s uch as th e G - 50 A un it nam e, networ k setting and M-NET setting.
9 4-2-2 M-NET S etting In M-NET Setting, set t he G-50A M-NET address , whether or not a K- Contro l unit is prese nt and which machines send th e prohib ited contr oller comm and. (1) Enter the G-5 0A M-NET address i n the [M-N ET Ad dress ] field. Nor mall y you shou ld enter [ 0].

In this m ode, it is pos sible to freel y operate the r emote c ontrol exc ept duri ng the pul se signa l input.
13 4-3 Group Se tting Displa y the page neede d to register the gr oup of air condit ioner s to be conn ected to the G-50 A and to s et the group nam e by click ing [Initi al Settings ]-[Grou ps]. On this page, you perf orm the basic s etting such as the G-50A u nit nam e, network setting an d M-NET setting .
14 (2) T o register r emote c ontrollers i n a grou p, clic k on the [Rem ote Controll er Registr ation] fiel d to displ ay the [S elect U nit Addr esses] screen, an d clic k on the num bers c orrespondin g to the units to be registere d. The ones that are sel ected wil l be s hown with a yellow-gr een bac kgr ound.
15 4-4 Interlocked S etting To interloc k the op eratio n of LOSS NAY with the r un/stop sta tus of the indoor units, c lick on [In itial Settings]- [Interloc ked LO SSNAY] in the m enu to brin g up the Interloc ked LO SSNAY screen, a nd enter th e interlock conditi ons.

17 5 Functions 1 5-1 Error mail repor ts/E-mail comm unication Click on [Functions 1] – [ E-Mai l] in the m enu to open the [E-m ail] win dow and mak e necessar y settings to perform rem ote monitori ng via m ail, usi ng error mail r eport or t he mainte nance too l.
18 5-1-2 Setti ng the Mail Serve r Information Enter the m ail ser ver infor m ation provided b y either t he ISP or the LAN adm inistr ator. Either t he IP a ddress or th e host n am e (server nam e) can be entered i n the m ail serv er field.
19 (4) T o e-mail an error when an er ror occ urs on g enera l equipm ent connected to PLC for genera l equipment, click the PLC Connection butto n, which appe ars at the tim e of s election of "G enera l Equipm ent", to s et the IP addr ess of PLC f or gener al equi pment.
20 5-2 Energ y-Save Control a nd Peak Cut Con trol Click on [Functions 1] – [ Peak Cut] in the m enu to bring up th e peak c ut control scr een, and mak e necessar y peak c ut settings to use the energ y-save or peak c ut control f unction. Click [Save Sett ings] to s end setti ng data to t he G-5 0A.
21 5-2-1 Init ialization of the PLC (When the PLC i s in use) Before us ing the P LC Sof tware for demand inp ut or Ele ctric Amount Count Soft ware, clic k on the PLC initi alize button onc e to in itialize t he intern al m emor y. Note: Do not initialize the memory after the op eration has begun, for it will clear all operation data.

Note: M-NET addresses are displayed on outdoor uni ts of City multi type. M-NET addresses and group names are displayed on A-control units (Slim units ).
