2 Before Usin g This Software 1.1 Before Using This Sof tware This software can be used ef fectively as a support tool for operations from startup to maintenance of the Mitsubishi transistorized inverter . The following functions can be performe d efficiently on the personal computer .

5 Preparations for S tartup 1 OVERVIEW [Connection example between co nver ter and inverter (PU connector)] [Connection of USB cable and USB connector] Interface Conforming to USB 1.
6 Preparations for S tartup [Connection via GOT (F A transparent function) ] The F A transparent function allows the sequ ence prog rams of the Mitsubishi PLC to be read, written and monitored from a PC connected via a GOT . Using F A transparent function of GOT1000 series, commun ication with in verter via GOT is e nabled.
7 Preparations for S tartup 1 OVERVIEW 1.2.4 Installation of FR Configurator T o use the FR Configurator (FR-SW2-SET UP-WE), the files included in the setup disks must be installed onto the personal computer . T o install the old version of the FR co nfigurator , use the se tup program (SETUP .
8 Preparations for S tartup (2) The screen shown right is displayed. Click the "Next" button. REMARKS The above screen can be displayed with d ouble-clicking the icon of CD-ROM drive or the following procedure. (1) Choose the [Execute it by specifying a file name (R)] command from [St art] menu.
9 Preparations for S tartup 1 OVERVIEW (7) W hen the installation is finished, a shor tcut is created in the [S tart] menu. (5) Check the settings , and click "Next" if there is no problem. When changing the settings , click "<Back" and correct them.
10 Preparations for S tartup 1.2.5 Uninstallation of FR Configurator Select "Add or Remove Programs" from [S tart] - [Setting] - [Control panel] and display the following screen. Select "VFD Setup Software(SW2)" and click the "Remove" button to ex ecute the uninstallation.
