6. CLEANING / MAINTENANCE Initial Cleaning: Cleaning: Extended Shut down: Prior to operating your new griddle, thoroughly wash the griddle surface and the exterior with a mild detergent or soap solution. Do not use abrasive cleaners since this might damage the cabinet finish.
