SERVICE MANUAL 4–2 29AUG97 – SM3226-1 Calibration Overview Calibration is a method of ensuring consistent image appearance despite differences in film emulsions and variations in the chemistry for the processor. Calibration also provides consistent filmed images regardless of which PRINTER or processor is used.
