4 SA VE THESE INSTRUCTIONS For self-cleaning ovens: ■ Do Not Clean Door Gasket – The door gasket is essential for a good seal. Care should be taken not to rub, damage, or move the gasket. ■ Do Not Use Oven Cleaners – No commercial oven cleaner or oven liner protective coating of any kind should be used in or around any part of the oven.

6 ELECTRONIC OVEN CONTROL Display( s) When power is first s upplie d to the appl iance, everyt hing on the displa y(s) will light up for 5 secon ds. Th en, “ PF id = 27 ” or “ PF id = 30 ” will ap pear . Press LOWER OVEN CANCE L to clear displa y(s ).

8 Contro l Lock The Control Loc k shuts dow n the con trol panel p ads to prevent unintended use of the ove n(s). When the control is locked, only the C LOCK SET • ST ART , TIMER SET • ST ART and TIMER CANCEL pa ds will function. The Con tr ol L ock is pr eset un lo cked , but can be l oc ked.
9 BAKEWARE T o cook food ev enly , hot air must be able to circ ulate. Al low 2 in . (5 cm) of space a round bakeware and oven walls. Use the following chart as a guid e. Bakeware The bakeware mat erial affects cooking r esults. Follow manufact urer ’ s recommendations an d use the bakeware size recommended in the recipe.
10 Broil Maxi/Econo Broiling uses dire ct radiant heat from the broil element(s) to cook food. During maxi br oiling, both the inner and outer br oil elements hea t. During econo broiling, only the inn er broil element heats. The e lement(s) cy cle on and off in interv als to main tain the oven temperat ure.
11 Convection Cooking (on some models) In a convectio n oven, the fan-c irculated hot air contin ually distributes heat mor e evenly t han the natural movement of air in a stan dard the rma l ov en.
12 T o Convection Roas t: Before convection roasting, posi tion the racks ac cording to the “ Positioning Racks an d Bakeware ” sec ti on. It is no t ne cess ary to wait for the ov en to pr eheat be fore p utting food in, unle ss recommended in the recipe.
13 Convection Broil During convect ion broiling, the broil elemen ts will cycl e on and off in interv als to maint ain ove n temperat ure, while the fa n co nstantly circulates the ho t air . The temperature is preset at 45 0 ° F (232 ° C), but ca n be change d to a different temperature.
14 To U s e : Before using Conv ect Full Meal, place food in oven. If temperature probe is required, ins ert probe into food and plug probe into jack. See “ T emperature Probe ” section for diagram. 1. Press CONVECT FULL MEAL. 2. Press pad from chart.

17 1. Press the number pad s to enter a probe tempe rature other than 16 0 ° F (71 ° C) . The probe range can be set between 130 ° F and 190 ° F (54 ° C and 88 ° C). 2. Press BAKE, CONVECTION BAKE or CONVECTION ROAST . Press the numb er pads to enter a tempera ture other than t he one di spla yed .
18 T imed Cooking Timed Cooking allows the oven to b e set to turn on at a certain time of day , cook for a set length of time, and/or shut of f automatical ly . D elay start should not b e used for food su ch as breads and cakes bec ause they may not bake properly .
19 OVEN CA RE Self-Cleaning Cyc le (on some models) IMPORT ANT : The health of s ome birds is ex tremely sensi tive to the fumes give n off during the S elf-Clean ing cycle. Exposure to the fume s may result in de ath to cer tain bi rds. Always m ove birds to another closed an d well ventila ted room.
20 T o Self-Clean: Before self-clean ing, ma ke sure the door is closed complete ly or it will not lock and the cy cle will not begin. 1. Press CLEAN. Press the nu mber pad s to set a cl ean ti me other t han 3 hour s 30 minutes. The clean time ca n be set bet ween 2 hours 30 minute s and 4 ho urs 30 min ute s.
21 BROILER P AN AN D GRID Do not clean in the Self-Cleaning cy cle. ■ Mildly abrasive cleanse r: Scrub with wet scour ing pad. ■ Solution of ¹₂ cup ( 125 mL) ammonia t o 1 gal. ( 3.75 L) wa ter: Soak for 20 minutes, th en scr ub with s couring or ste el wool pad.
