9 T raditional Cooking Convection Cook ing BAKEWARE T o cook food evenly , hot air must be able t o circulate. Allow 2" (5 cm) of spac e around bakeware and oven walls. Use the following chart as a guide. Bakeware The bakeware material af fects cooking results.
10 Oven V ent(s) Single and Double Oven Mode ls Double Oven Models Only The oven vent(s) should not be blocked or covered since t hey allow the release of hot air and moist ure from the oven. Blocking or covering vents will cause poor air circulation, affecting cooking and cleanin g results.
11 T o Regularly S et, Untimed: 1. On double ov ens only , press UPPER OVEN or LOWER OVEN. Each oven can be indepen dentl y set. 2. Press OVEN LIGHT to desired option. 3. Press BAK E. Press the number pad s to enter a temperat ure other than 350°F (177°C).

13 BROILING CHART For best res ults, place food 3" (7 cm) or mor e from the br oil elements, rac k position 4 is recommended. For diagram, see the “Positioni ng Racks and Bakew are” section. A tempe rature of 500°F (260° C) is r ecommended.

15 Convection Broil (on some models) During convect ion broiling, the broil elemen ts will cycl e on and off in inte rvals to maint ain oven t emperature, w hile th e fan co nstant ly circulates the hot air . The temperat ure is preset at 45 0°F (232° C), but can b e change d to a different temperature.
16 3. Press ST ART . The start time, s top tim e, ver tical bar co untdo wn and minute time countdown will ap pear on the oven displ ay . The stop time will not appear if no t set in the ch angeable cycl e. When the cycle e nds, “End” will appear in th e oven display .
17 8. Press CANCEL OFF , UPPER OVEN CANCEL / OFF or , on some models, LOWER OVEN CANCEL/OFF or op en the oven door to clear the display and/or s top reminder tones . Proofing Bread (single, uppe r and, on some m odels, low er oven) Proofing bread prepares dough for b aking by activati ng the yeast.
18 T o Use Upper Oven with Pr obe and Lower Oven at the Same Time: 1. Follow steps 1 through 4 under the “T o Use” section. 2. Press LOWER OVEN. The probe’ s temp erature setting wil l disa ppear f rom the di splay . 3. Press BAKE or BROIL. Press the numb er pads to enter a t emperature other than the one di splaye d.
19 OVEN CARE Self-Cleaning Cycle (on some models) IMPORT ANT : The health of some birds is extremely sens itive t o the fumes give n off during the Se lf-Cleanin g cycle. Ex posure to the fumes ma y result in death to certain birds. Always m ove birds to another closed and wel l ventilated room.

21 Oven Lights The oven lights are 12-volt, 5-watt maximum halogen bulbs. They will come on when the oven door is opened. On double oven models, b oth upper a nd lower ligh ts will come on when eith er door is ope ned. The oven li ghts will not work during the Self- Cleanin g cycle.
