The next wizard steps allows you to disable the creation of a de sktop icon, to change the default program installation path, or to disable the automatic star tup of the Aastra 800.

Installation LAN Integration 31 3.6.4 Configuring SNTP Time Ser vice V oIP terminals hooked up t o the Aastra 80 0 c ommunications system are set t o the current time using the SNTP (Simple Netw ork Time Prot ocol) time service. Th e SNTP service of the Windows operating syst em is used to do so.
Installation LAN Integration 32 6. Confirm the settings with OK . Note: If the time displayed is not the same as the actual lo- cal time, this is due to the time z one setting. Select the Time Zone tab in the Da te and Time Properties dialog and con- figure it for the curren t location.

Because this IP address is inv alid on the Internet, the command output will stop when the first Inter net b orde r rou ter is reac hed. Copy the IP address shown in the last line for the next step, for example “151.

The conn ection between a w orkstation comput er and the Aastr a 800 runs via the IP protocol (also named TCP/IP) used on the Internet.

VPN connections, for example , can be used f o r data links to pr ovide service to remote or hard-to-reach locations.

In this guide we will, for the sake of brevity and clarity , describe only those features required f o r secure standard operation.

PBX Networking Configur ation 94 9.2 C onfigura tion The possible configurations described belo w can be set up in the Web console using the T elephony: T runks menu. 9.2.1 Bundles A bundle is a group of lines of the same type and direction. A line can only be assigned to one bundle.
