13 Set the camera in the follo wing procedure. Preparation Procedure Step 1 Connection/Installation Firstly , mak e a hole in the ceiling, follo wed b y connecting the power cab le, LAN cable or alarm signal cable to the terminal of the ceiling mount of this camera.

19 1-2 Attachment of Ceiling Mount 1. Attach safety wire to prevent camera from falling down Connect the ceiling slab or channel to the ceiling mount using the wire to prevent the camera from falling down. Make use of the safety wire mounting hole to connect the ceiling mount and the wire.
20 Preparation (Step 1 Connection/Installation) 2. Fasten the ceiling mount to the ceiling While taking care not to catch the connection cables, attach the Ceiling Mount to the ceiling using four screws (as shown in the diagram). Use 8-32 UNC-sized (M4-sized) screws or bolts.
21 1-3 Installing the Camera 1. Attach the safety wire to prevent the camera from falling down As shown in the diagram, pull out the safety wire from the camera and hang it to the safety wire fastening hook on the ceiling mount. Be sure to connect the safety wire to prevent the camera from falling down.

Turn the camera Make sure that the camera is horizontal, followed by fitting the camera to the ceiling mount and turning it in the clockwise direction until it stops. Upon doing so, check that the the camera clamping bracket is aligned with the position of the locking screw of the ceiling mount.

Setting of compression le vel is possib le when this is set to "OFF", and images will be sent out at the specified compression le vel. The smaller the v alue, the lo wer the compression le vel and hence a higher image quality .
61 Use this function when darker par ts of a picture are unclear ev en after the gain has been increased using the AGC (A uto Gain Control). ON : When the blac k le v el of the video signal is low , the pedestal le vel is increased automatically in order to impro ve the clarity of the darker par ts.
62 Sense Up ExDR Mode ExDR Level This function is used to increase the sensitivity by e xtending the exposure time . Increasing this value slows the shutter speed and motion may appear unnatural. When the item "SHUTTER" is set to "1/250" or more, the SENSE UP item does not work.
