E Before and during the grinding operation y ou can select the coffee strength of single products by turning the Rotary Switc h g : MILD , NORMAL , STRONG , INTENSIVE .
16 2 Preparation Y ou can choose to use a second c offee variety , for example decaf - feinated coff ee, with the filt er funnel for ground coffee . E Never add more than two lev el measuring spoons of ground coffee . E Use ground coffee whic h is not ground too finely .

33 5 Maintenance E After 120 litres of wa ter hav e flowed through, the filter will cease to w ork. Y our IMPRESSA will automatically prompt you to change the filter . E After t wo months, the filter will cease to w ork. Set the date on the date plate on the filter holder in the w ater tank.
34 5 Maintenance After 200 prepar ations o r 80 switch-on rinses, the IMPRESSA will prompt you to c lean it. If the wrong cleaning agent is used, the machine could be d amaged and/or trace s could be left behind in the water . T Use only original JURA maintenance products.
35 5 Maintenance The IMPRESSA builds up deposits of limescale ov er time and auto - matically prompts you to descale it when necessary . The degree of calcification depends on the hardness of y our water . If the descaling agent comes into contact with the skin or eyes, this can cause irritation.
36 5 Maintenance T Place a recep tacle under the hot -water no zzle. c T Press the Maintenanc e button. DE-SCALING , wat er flows str aight into the drip tr ay and out of the hot -water nozzle repeatedly . The operation is int errupted, EMPTY TRAY .
37 5 Maintenance Coffee beans ma y be cov ered with a slight oil film which remains on the walls of the bean c ontainer . These traces ma y negatively affect the coffee result. F or this reason clean the bean container from time to time . Precondition: READY is display ed.
