7 Cabinet-fr ont mounting 7. Grasp sides of compact or drawer and place bottom of drawer into tra cks. Lift at the handle so drawer wil l go over drawer stops. Clos e drawer . Check that th e drawer opens freely . If the toe pla te rubs against floor , see “Adjusting the T oe Plate” for further instructions.
8 COMPACT OR USE How Y our Compactor W orks The compacting ram is the part of the compactor which compresses the trash. The compa cting ram does not go to the bottom of the draw er . Y ou will not see compacting of trash th e first few times you load the compactor .
9 Using t he Air Filte r 1. Set the Air Filt er switch to ON. The fan creates air movemen t in the compact or for odor removal. NOTE : The charcoal Air Filte r works only when the Key-Knob is in th e ON positi on. 2. Set th e Air F ilter s witch to OFF to turn of f the fa n.
