SECTION 1—GENERAL GUIDELINES Part No 1024492 11 Portable Patient Lift and Sling If the patient lift is exposed to extreme te mperature (above 100°F or below 32°F), high humidity and/or becomes wet, prior to use, en sure handgrips do not twist on patient lift handle - otherwise damage or injury may occur .

The rate of descent can be controlled by v arying the amount that th e control valv e is opened.
