13 Lens installation 1. Raise the lens le ver a nd rem ove the m ount cap. 2. Align the lens c enter m ark with the i ndent a t the upper part of the l ens m ount and inst all the l ens 3. Lower the lens lever to secure th e lens. 4. Engage the c able with the cab le clam p and connect it to the le ns conn ector.
14 Lens flangeback adjustme nt When operat ing a zoom lens, if the f ocus is not precisely al igned at bot h t he t ele photo and wide a ng l e extremes o f the l ens, the flan geb ack (distance fro m the lens mounting pl ane t o t he focal pl an e) is adjusted.
15 White shading adjustment White shad in g adjustment is reco mmended aft er rep lacing the len s. The adjustmen t relates to the camera vertica l colorati on. If the lens in cludes an extender, the sha ding can be optimiz ed f or both extender on an d of f mod es.

17 Camera adapter installation 1. Align th e ada pter with the camera gui de and guide pi n. Attach t he adapt er and engage the co nne ctor. 2. Tighten t he scr ews provided with t he handle to se cure t he ca m era adapt er t o the camera.
18 Microphone installation Mic holder attachment Attach the M H -Z3 microp ho ne holder (se parat ely sold). Microphone Install the (s eparately sold) MC-Z2/Z3 microp ho ne and C-300MA micr ophone cable as follows. 1. Attach the M C -Z2/Z3 microphone to the mi c ho lder.
19 Tripod mounting Use the acce ssory TA-Z3 tripod ada pt er t o mo unt the camera on a t r ipo d. 1. Securely at t ach t he tripod ada pter to the tripod. Shift the ad apter screw position t o obt ain the best balanc e. The adapter can acc ept t w o types of screws.
20 Shoulder pad position The shoulder p ad can be shifted up to 15 mm in eit he r direction from the c enter (factory ) position. The position c an be adjust ed f or comfortable o peration. 1. Loosen 2 screws. 2. Slide th e pad f orward or rearwar d t o t he best posit ion.
21 Anton-Bauer battery pack A nton-Bauer batter y pack Procure the sep arately sold battery hold er to operate the camera fro m an Anton-Baue r battery. 1. Use 4 screws to at t ach t he bat t ery holder to the rear of the camera adapter. Note:The o ptional b utter y holder c onnectin g cable is requ ired.
