5 Installation The height of the cook er can be adjusted b y means of adjustable f eet in the plinth (900mm - 915mm). Adjust the feet b y tilting the cooker from the side . Then install the product into position. NO TE: This appliance must not be fitted on a platform.

10 Use of Hotplates Note: Under no circumstances should the hob be used with aluminium f oil in contact with the hob surf ace. The controls set the hotplates at six pre-set power le vel s. Each control can be used to select one of six temperature settings from a minimum at position 1 to a maximum at position 6.
11 Hotplates General Information Notes THE BEST COMBINA TIONS This table is a general guide to the types of pan suitab le for different types of hobs and cookers . Remember pans should be good quality , with smooth, flat bases. For any further information refer to manuf acturers’ instructions .
12 Hotplates General Inf ormation Notes Do Not Do not cook directly on the hob surf ace without a cooking utensil, as this will result in damage to the surf ace of the hob . Do not use the hob as a wor ktop surf ace as damage may occur to the smooth surf ace of the hob.
13 Choosing Y our Utensils Do not use utensils with rough bases. Do not use lightweight utensils with thin, distor ted or uneven bases . Do not use lightweight enamelled steel utensils. Do not use cast iron utensils. Do not use utensils with recessed, scrolled or r idged bases .
