2 Getting Started 2.1 Inserting the Memory Card Insert the memory card wi th the gold conta cts faci ng the ba ck of the camcorder. Push the memory card until it clicks into place. (Use class 6 or above the micro SD cards for thi s cam corder; It is recomm ended to format the micro SD cards before the initial use.
2.2 Installing in Vehicles 2. 2.1 Mount to Windshiel d 1. Attach the bracke t to the device. Slide it into the b racket hol der until you hear a click. 2. With the suction-cup la ying flat, position the suction-cup on the windshield. 3. Hold the base firmly on the windshield and press down the clamp to mount the car h older to the windshield.
2. 2.2 Adju st the de vice pos itio n 1. Loosen the knob to swivel the device vertically . 2. Loosen the knob to swivel the device horizontally up to 360°.
2.3 Connecting to Power Use only the supplied car adapter to power up the de vice and charge the built-in b attery. 1. Connect one end of the car adapte r to the USB connector of the camcorder. 2. Plug the other end of the car charger to the cigarette li ghter socket of your vehicle.
2.4 Powering the Camcorder On / Off 2. 4.1 Auto Power O n/O ff Once the vehicle e ngine is sta rted, the camcorder a utomati cally turns o n. If the Automatic Record func tion is enabled, the recording will automatica lly start right af ter the ca mcorder powers o n.
2.5 Initial Settings Before using the device, we recommend you enable the Automatic Record func tion and set up the corr ect date an d time. 2. 5.1 Set Automatic Recording To enable the recording to sta rt auto matica lly after you turn on the power, do the following: 1.
Note: 1. When t he battery i s draine d dry and the satel lite sync hroniza tion is o ff , the user mus t reset the date/time before the function -automatic reco rd is started. If the user doesn't reset the date/time, t he device wi ll give you alert afte r one m inutes and the automa tic record w ill be started .

3 Using the Car Recorder 3.1 Recording Videos 3. 1.1 Record vide os while driving When the vehicle engine starts up a nd the Auto matic Record fun ction is enabled, the ca mcorder automatica lly turns on an d sta rts recording. Recording will automatically stop when the engine is switched off.

3. 2.1 Playing Videos To play videos, do the following: 1. If recording is in progress, press the button to stop recording. 2. Press the button to enter the OSD menu. 3. Press the / button to select File Playback and press the button. 4. Press the / button to select Video or Emergency and press the button.

3. 2.4 Deleting Files To delete file(s), do the following: 1. If recording is in progress, press the button to stop recording. 2. Press the button to enter the OSD menu. 3. Press the / button to select File Deletion and press the button. 4. Press the / button to select the file category and p ress the button.
4 Adjusting the Settings 4.1 Using the Menu You can customi ze the video recordi n g and other genera l settings via the on-screen display (OSD) menus. 1. If recording is in progress, press the button to stop recording. 2. Press the button to open the OSD menu.
