F or Y our Safety For y our safety , read the following advice: The fridge freezer cooling syst em contains a small amount of gas which is environmen tally friendly but flammable. T o av oid any risk :- Install the fridge freezer follo wing the installation instructi ons and ensure that ventilation openings ar e kept clear of obstruction.
Installation Location & Air Cir culation W ARNING: This appliance must not be installed in a location where the room temper ature drops below 10 o C, or exceeds 32 o C, for prolonged periods. This is because correct storage temperatur es will not be maintained.
Installation Lev elling: Lev el the fridge freezer when it is in its final location by adjusting the fr ont feet, until firm contact is made with the floor . This will stop rocking or vibration and keep the doors aligned which helps the fridge freezer run reliably and e fficiently .
Installation Electrical Supply W ARNING: This appliance must be earthed. The appliance must be positioned so that the plug is acc essibl e af ter installation. Fu se s Y our appliance comes fitted with a plug and a 13A fuse. If you need to replace the fuse, only use those rated at 13A and AST A approved to BS1362.
C ontrols Con trolling the T emperature of the F ridge Compartment The control wheel on the fr ont of the worktop adjusts the int ernal fridge compartment temperature. The int ernal temperature should be 5˚C or colder , although some sections such as the salad bin will be slightly w armer .
Useful A dvice 7 Note: The Rating Plate , which lists the appliance Model Number and Serial Number can be found near the bottom of the freezer compartment on the interior wall. Note: The photographs indicate the F ast Freeze and stor age areas (see tables).
Making the best use of your Fridge F reezer Note : Always use the handle pro vided to open the fridge / freezer door. T o ensure that y our fridge freezer operat es as efficiently as possible : F ollow food packaging “best before/use by” instruc tions or your suppliers advice on a suitable maximum storage time .
Useful A dvice 9 USEFUL ADVICE Advic e on Adjusting Shelv es Make the most of the interior storage space by repositioning shelv es to suit the various heights of individual items y ou wish to store . T o remov e, ensure that the door is open fully . Slide the shelf forward and tilt from position.
Salad Bins F or the storage of fruit, vegetables and salad items. When storing vegetables , remov e unusable leaves and soil. Leav e l ettuce, cabbage and cauliflower on the stem. It is advisable to clean the salad bin regularly , it can be removed by sliding it out fr om position.
Useful A dvice 11 Storing F oo d in a F reezer F reeze and store either fr esh food or long term commercially fro zen foods. Generally speaking long term storage means up to 3 months but this can vary , so always follo w your supplier ’ s recommendations otherwise refer to the pictorial guide on the door liner (as shown, right).
Useful A dvice 12 Advic e on Using F reezer Draw ers The freezer c ompar tments can be used with or without the dr awer s. Howev er , the bottom draw er needs to remain in position at all times (to maintain the c or rect storage tempera ture). The storage dra wers can be easily removed .
Defrosting 13 Defrosting Fr idge compartment No manual defrosting required The fridge compartment will defrost automatically . During defros t periods water droplets form on the interior back wall of y our Fridge and refr eeze afterwards. W ARNING: Ensure that stored f ood does not come into contact with the int erior back wall of your F ridge.
Cleaning 14 Cleaning W ARNING: Switch off electrical supply and pull out mains plug before cle aning . Interior Note : W e recommend you use a straw to k eep the defrost gutter d rain hole clear of any blockage. DO NO T use sharp metal tools which could cause damage beyond repair .
Going A wa y If you are going awa y and don’t wan t to use your fridge freezer , switch off electricit y supply and pull out the mains plug. Remov e food and follo w the cleaning instructions on the previous page. Note : L eave the doors ajar to prevent an accumulation of odours .
Door Reversal Y ou will need a selec tion of small hand tools , screwdrivers, spanners etc. to carr y out this procedure . Our Ser vice Department can arrange for an Engineer to do the con version for you but a charge will be made. W ARNING: Switch off electrical supply and pull out the mains plug.
Refit Low er D oor 14. T ake off the two screw cov ers from the left hand centre panel and remove the two screws. F it these screws and covers ov er on the right ha nd side. 15. F it the centre hinge on the left hand side with the original screws, cover the screws with the original cov ers.

T roubleshooting Ice builds up rapidly inside the fridge 1. Check that nothing is stopping the door from closing properly . 2. Check that foods and liquids are cov ered to av oid the build up of moisture inside. 3. If your kitchen becomes exceptionally warm, your fridge may not defrost regularly .
