English 10 DISC CLEANING Use the disc cleaning clo th provided to lightly wipe off any dirt adhering to the disc as shown in the figure. Do not wipe the disc with force: Doing so could cause scratches. Never use solvent (thinner , water , antistat or deter gent) for cleaning.

Demonstration Function This D VD video camera/recorder is equipped with a demonstration function. The default at purchase time is “A uto”, which wi ll automatically star t the demonstration appro x.

Here is an explanation on “scen e” and “pr ogram”, so that you will be able to make most us e of Disc Navigation functi on.

Scenes on DVD-R W (VF-mode)/DVD-R disc cannot be deleted, and menu i tem “Delete” will not appear with DVD-RW (VF-mode)/DVD-R disc. When using +R W , no scene can be deleted from the Disc Navigation menu (see page 68).
