BA TTERY BACP AC FEA TURES 1. Attaches to your GoPro camera to double* battery capacity. 2. Plugs into any USB charging sour ce (PC, wall, auto charger). 3. Displays the battery level and char ge status in L CD window. 4. Displays the charge and r ecord activity with LED light.
A TT ACHING BA TTERY BACP AC T O GOPRO CAMERA ATT ACHING BA TTERY BACP AC The Battery BacPac can be attached to the original HD HERO , HD HERO2 and HERO3 cameras. 1. Slide hooked end of the Battery BacPac (A) into groov e on the right side of camera body (B).
REMOVING BA TTERY BACPAC 1. Pull back on the le side of the Battery BacPac marked with ar row to disconnect fr om the HERO Port. 2. Slide hooked end of the Battery BacPac (A) out of the camera groo ve (B).
SW APPING HOUSING DOORS Attaching the Battery BacPac to your GoPro camera will requir e the use of a deeper backdoor when used with the housing. T wo different backdoors ar e supplied with the Battery BacPac: one Standard (waterpr oof) and one Skeleton (non-waterproof).
USING THE BA TTERY BACP AC When connected and power ed ON , the Battery BacPac serves as an initial source of po wer . Once the Battery BacPac is depleted, your GoPro will switch ov er to draw from the battery inside the camera. The battery switch ov er happens automatically and does NOT inter rupt recor ding.
CHECKING BA TTERY BACPAC POWER LEVEL Press the Battery BacPac button (A) once and L CD (B) will illuminate to show pow er level. 100-70% 70-40% 40-10% <10% 8.
CHARGING DIRECT CHARGE 1. Connect the Battery BacPac to a computer or a USB compatible charger via included USB cable. 2. While charging, the Battery BacPac will display an animated icon. 3. When completely charged, the Battery BacPac will display a full battery icon.

USING CONNECTORS AND PORTS Never for ce a connector into a port; check for obstructions on the port. If the connector and port do not join with reasonable ease ther e may be a mismatch. Be sure the connector matches the port and that connections line up.
