5 OPERA TING INSTR UCTIONS CONTR OL P ANEL Filter Change Button After changing the water filter , press Cubed and Crushed buttons simultaneously and hold 3 seconds. Freezer Button Set the desired temperature of the freezer com- par tment or select/cancel the P ow er F reeze by pressing this button.
6 DIGIT AL P ANEL • The upper right par t of display sho ws the F resh F ood compar tment information. The two digit number indicates the current fridge temperature . There are 5 le vel bars that indicate the current freez er setting temperature from 1°C ~ 7 °C .

REMO VING THE FRIDGE A CCESSORIES 14 BEVERA GE ST A TION TM (ON SOME MODELS) T o open the Be ver age Station TM , hold the Bev erage Station TM door handle and pull it downward. When the door is opened, it can be used as a tra y to suppor t items, such as be ver age bottles and glasses.

16 CLEANING THE A CCESSORIES • Do not spra y the refrigerator with water while it is plugged in, as it ma y cause an electric shock. • Do not clean it with benzene , thinner or car detergent. It may cause a fire . Ice and water dispenser • Use a damp cloth to clean the ice and water dispenser .
17 OPERA TING INSTR UCTIONS CHANGING THE INTERIOR LIGHT INTERIOR LIGHT IN THE FRIDGE Bef ore changing the inter ior light, unplug the refrigerator from the power supply . If you ha ve difficulty in changing the light, contact y our ser vice center . W ARNING Light bulbs ma y be hot.
18 CHANGING THE INTERIOR LIGHT NO TE Push the center of the light cov er’ s upper side, and then pull down the light co ver . Change the bulb with a new one . Reattach the light cov er . First, align the rear hook of light cov er to light case, and then push the front hook.
19 OPERA TING INSTR UCTIONS W A TER FIL TER The water “Filter Indicator” light • “Filter Indicator” light lets you know when it is time to change your w ater filter car tridge. The light will change from green to orange. This tells you that it is almost time to change the current car tridge.

The appliance tilts down to the left. T ur n the left adjusting leg in the direction of the arrow with a flat head scre wdriver until the appliance is le vel.
22 ADJUSTING THE HEIGHT BETWEEN THE DOORS The doors will be uneven if the refrigerator is not level. Case 1) F reezer door is lo wer than the refrigerator door . Inser t a flat-blade scre wdriver (-) ( ➀ ) into a slot of the control le ver ( ➁ ), tur n it cloc kwise and lev el the refrigerator .

24 ADJUSTING THE HEIGHT BETWEEN THE DOORS The adjuster in the F resh Select Zone can be used in the same wa y . NO TE If the Arctic Select Zone Door is lo wer than the Fresh Select Zone Door . 1) Locate the height-adjuster ( ➀ ) in the Arctic Select Zone .
25 INST ALLA TION INSTR UCTIONS 1) With the door closed,remov e the upper hinge cov er ( ➀ ) using a scre wdriver , and then remove the water tube b y pressing the coupler-r ing ( ➁ ) and pulling the water tube ( ➂ ) aw ay . Unscrew tw o phillips screws from the front leg cov er .
26 4) Remov e the door from the lower hinge( ➇ )carefully lifting the door( ➈ ). 5) Remov e the phillips screw( ➉ )and two he x head screws ( )from the lo wer hinge 11 Remo ving the Freez er Door REMO VING THE REFRIGERA T OR DOORS 2) Disengage the hooks on the connector - cover ( ➃ ) protecting the connector and open it.

28 REMO VING THE REFRIGERA T OR DOORS How to Disassemb le the Ar ctic Select Zone Door 1) Open the Arctic Select Zone Door . 3) Locate the eight phillips screws in the Arctic Select Zone. Unscrew the six phillips screws. And unscrew the two phillips scre ws( ➀ ) three times tur ns to lift the door up .

30 Reattaching the Freezer Door REA TT A CHING THE REFRIGERA T OR DOORS 1) Reattach a phillips screw ( ➀ ) and two he x head screws ( ➁ ) to the hinge completely . 2) Place the hole in the bottom of the door ( ➃ ) ov er the hinge ( ➂ ). 3) Inser t the upper hinge shaft ( ➄ ) into the hole ( ➅ ).

32 REA TT A CHING THE REFRIGERA T OR DOORS FRONT LEG CO VER Reattaching the Fr ont Leg Co ver Hold the front leg-cov er with both hands and inser t it by sliding the hooks along the guide at the bottom. Then, lift up the leg-front-cov er a little bit and snap the upper r ibs into the locking tabs .
33 INST ALLA TION INSTR UCTIONS CHECKING THE W A TER DISPENSER LINE 1) In order to operate the ice maker properly , water pressure of 1.4 ~ 8.5kgf/cm 2 (0.14~0.83Mpa, 19.9~120.9psi, 1.37~8.3bar) is required. In this range a 100 cc paper cup can be filled in 10 seconds .

36 W A TER ICE INST ALLA TION OF THE W A TER DISPENSER LINE Remo ve any residual matter inside the water suppl y line after installing filter . 1) T ur n on the main water supply & shut-off the valv e of the water supply line. 2) Run water through the dispenser until the water runs clear (6~7 minutes).
