Boilovers cause smoking and greasy spillovers that may catch on fire. ■ Do not use aluminum foil to line the drip pans or anywhere in the oven except as described in this manual. Misuse could result in a shock, fire hazard or damage to the range.
SURF ACE COOKING UNITS (cont.) ■ Do not immerse or soak the removable sur face units. Do not put them in a dishwasher . ■ When preparing flaming foods under the hood, turn the fan on.

6 Oven Control, Clock and T imer Features and Settings BAKE/TEMP RECALL Pad T ouch this pad to select the bake function. T ouch and hold the pad to decrease the time or temperature by larger amounts.

Y ou can use aluminum foil to line the broiler pan and broiler grid. However , you must mold the foil tightly to the grid and cut slits in it just like the grid.

Y our new touch pad control has additional features that you may choose to use. The following are the features and how you may activate them. The special feature modes can only be activated while the display is showing the time of day . They remain in the control’ s memory until the steps are repeated.

T o remove the door: Fully open the door . Pull the hinge locks down toward the door frame, to the unlocked position.

Broiler Pan and Grid After broiling, remove the broiler pan from the oven. Remove the grid from the pan. Carefully pour out the grease from the pan into a proper container .
