How to Remove Protective Shipping Film and Packaging T ape Carefully grasp a corner of the protective shipping film with your fingers and slowly peel it from the appliance sur face.
The door is very heavy . Be careful when removing and lifting the door . Do not lift the door by the handle. T o remove the door: Fully open the door . Pull the hinge locks down toward the door frame, to the unlocked position. A tool, such as a small flat- blade screwdriver , may be required.
Do not use a steel wool pad; it will scratch the surface. T o clean the stainless steel sur face, use warm sudsy water or a stainless steel cleaner or polish. Always wipe the sur face in the direction of the grain. Follow the cleaner instructions for cleaning the stainless steel sur face.

Any soil will burn off when the element is heated. Clean the oven floor with warm, soapy water . On some models, the bake element is not exposed and is under the oven floor .

Use a single-edge razor blade scraper at approximately a 45° angle against the glass sur face and scrape the soil. It will be necessary to apply pressure to the razor scraper in order to remove the residue.
