Aluminum Foil Never cover the oven bottom with aluminum foil. Y ou can use aluminum foil to line the broiler pan and broiler grid. However , you must mold the foil tightly to the grid and cut slits in it just like the grid. Aluminum foil may also be used to catch a spillover .

Adjust the oven thermostat—Do it yourself! Y ou may find that your new oven cooks differently than the one it replaced. Use your new oven for a few weeks to become more familiar with it. If you still think your new oven is too hot or too cold, you can adjust the thermostat yourself.

How to Delay the Start of Cleaning (on some models) Make sure the clock shows the correct time of day . Latch the door . T ouch the SELF CLEAN pad. Using the + or – pads, enter the desired clean time. T ouch the ST ART TIME pad. The earliest start time you can set will appear in the display .
Do not use a steel wool pad; it will scratch the surface. T o clean the stainless steel sur face, use warm sudsy water or a stainless steel cleaner or polish. Always wipe the sur face in the direction of the grain. Follow the cleaner instructions for cleaning the stainless steel sur face.

The gasket is designed with a gap at the bottom to allow for proper air circulation. Do not rub or clean the door gasket— it has an extremely low resistance to abrasion.

Allow the cooktop to cool. Use a single-edge razor blade scraper at approximately a 45° angle against the glass sur face and scrape the soil. It will be necessary to apply pressure to the razor scraper in order to remove the residue.
