8 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 5 Add laundry products to the dispenser. For best results Use a low-sudsing, high ef fi ciency detergent to prevent oversudsing in front load w ashers. Look f or this symbol on the detergent label: Detergent, liquid chlorine bleach and liquid fabric softener will be dispensed at the proper times in the cycle.
9 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Operating Your Washer, continued Í NOTE From time to time you may see water in the “ Main Wash - liquid only ”, “ Liquid Bleach ” and “ Fabric Softener ” chambers. This is part of the normal operation of the w asher .
10 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Operating Your Washer, continued Í NOTE T o provide the best care for your laundry , not every setting or option is av ailable with every cycle. If a setting or option is not av ailable for the cycle selected, the indicator will not light.
11 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS T urn the cycle selector in either direction to the cycle desired. The indicator for that cycle will be illuminated. Cycle Selection Follow the f abric care label instructions on items to be washed. For best results T o change the cycle once it has begun, press the cancel button before selecting a new cy cle.
12 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS rinse & spin (on select models) Select rinse & spin for loads that need a cold water rinse or to add fabric softener that may ha ve been omitted in a regular cycle. Add the f abric softener to the dispenser chamber . Select the spin speed appropriate for the load.
13 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Specialty Cycle Selection Specialty Cycles (on select models) T urn the cycle selector to specialty cycles to access additional custom cycles. Scroll through the cycles by pressing the outer buttons under the LCD screen. pet beds W ash soft-sided pet beds, pet pillows or pet blank ets with the pet beds cycle.

T o delete options, press the options buttons again and the indicator lights will turn off . Some options require a “press & hold” effort to activ ate or deactivate the secondary f unction.

17 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Í NOTE The vent latch may become dislodged from hinge point if door closure is attempted while latch arm is not in an acceptable closing position. The latch arm can be snapped back in at the hinge location. W asher will still operate without latch arm installed.

21 STAIN REMOVAL GUIDE ST AIN TREA TMENT Adhesive tape, chewing gum, rubber cement Apply ice. Scrape off ex cess. Place stain face down on paper towels. Saturate with pre- wash stain remover or non fl ammable dry cleaning fl uid. Baby formula, dairy products, egg Use product containing enzymes to pretreat or soak stains.
22 CARE AND CLEANING Í NOTE If the clean washer cycle is cancelled or paused during the cycle, the washer will go through 2 rinse cycles to clean the drum of any residual bleach bef ore unlocking the door .
23 CARE AND CLEANING Í NOTE Detergent and fabric softener may build up in the dispenser drawer . Residue should be remov ed once or twice a month. • Remove the drawer by pulling the dr awer out until it stops. • Reach back into the left rear corner of the drawer cav - ity and press down fi rmly on the lock tab.
24 CARE AND CLEANING Í NOTE If the Clean Washer cycle is cancelled or paused during the cycle, the washer will go through 2 rinse cycles to clean the drum of any residual bleach bef ore unlocking the door . Immediately follow up with a spin only cycle.
25 CARE AND CLEANING RV ANTIFREEZE Follow WINTERIZING INSTRUCTIONS for cold weather storage and care. • When washing is completed, wipe top and sides of washer with a damp cloth. T urn water faucets off to prev ent pres- sure build-up in the hoses. • Clean the cabinet with mild soap and water .
