9 -EN Setting a Destination 1 T ouch any where on map screen. 2 The vehicle arr ow changes to a cr o sshair cursor . 3 Move the cursor to the new d esired street. • Use Map Zoom button to zoo m out the map if the desti nation is far from the current location.
10 -EN Go to Menu Go to M ain Menu Go to 1 Address Button Sear ch by typing an addr ess. See page 11 . • Last 4 Str eets/Last 4 Ci ties: The last f our street names and city names searc hed are stored in memory . Y ou can reselec t a street name/ city name from this list.
11 -E N Set a Destination by Addr ess There are several ways to set a destina tion. Y ou can set a dest ination directl y from the ma p (page 9) or select Go to f rom the mai n menu. Go to Ma in Menu Go to Address 1 Select by Street. 2 T ype the stre et name and touch [O K ].
12 -EN Set a Destination by Plac e Y ou can se lect from app roximately 6 mi llion place lo cations stored inside you r NVE-M300 GPS Navigation System. Go to Main Menu G o to Places • Last 4 names an d Last 4 types takes you to a lis t fr om the last 4 places/ty pes you have previously entered.
13 -E N 1 Selec t Along Route. 2 Select the desired place type button. T ouch [OK]. • Highlighte d button means it is se lected. Y ou can select mul tiple place types. T ouch the button again to turn the selection on or off. 3 A list of places appear s Select the d esired place.
14 -EN Set a Destination by Coor dinates Go to M ain Menu Go to Coor dinates 1 Enter the Latitude of y our destina tion. T ouch [OK] . 2 Enter the Longitud e of y our destina tion. T ouch [OK] . 3 The Confir m Destina tion Screen appea rs. T ouch [Go!] to calculate the route.
15 -E N If you know the city name of th e intersect ion you are searching, select by City . The c h oice of the st reet is narr owed do wn automa tically . This saves time in en tering the stre et inform ation. 1 Select by City . 2 T ype the city name, then select the city from the list.
16 -EN The Destina tion Optio ns Menu allows you to find places nearby , f ind alternative routes to get to your destinat ion, set a destina tion as your home, sav e a desti nation in the address book, an d create waypoints.
17 -E N Saving a Destination into the Address Book 1 T ouch [Save to Address Book] . 2 T ype in desi red name . T ouch [OK]. 3 Selec t an icon. If there is no desir ed icon, tou ch [No Icon]. 4 T ouc h [OK]. Setting Waypoints Y ou can set up to 3 waypo ints between yo u current locati on and your destinati on.
18 -EN 1 Select the desired waypoint to delete from the list. 2 T ouch [Delete]. 1 T ouch [Opti ons]. 2 T ouch [Delete All Wa ypoin ts]. T ouch [ Y es] to confir m. 3 If all waypoint s ar e deleted, wi ll return to the waypoint list. T o ge t back to the M ap screen, touch [Map] to get ba c k to the map.
19 -E N Viewing T urn List During Guidance Y ou can view a list o f street names and upc oming turns an d streets. Main Menu Info Route or directly from the M ap 1 T ouch [Vie w T urn List ]. 2 A list of upcoming streets and turns appears on the screen.

24 -EN Regional Settings Go to Main Menu Regional Y ou can sele ct a Language from English, French and Spanish. Y ou can se t the Units of Measure to rea d in kilome ters or mile s. Y ou ca n set th e Clock to 12 or 24 hour s tyle and set Dayligh t Savings to fit your region.

26 -EN Viewing GPS Status This f eature allows you to view GPS sate llite sig nal infor mation. Y ou can view the dy namic location inf ormat ion received fro m satellite , such as, sign al stren gth, compa ss (di rection info rmation), latitude /longitude, approx imate a ltitude.
