8 Setting Surface Controls Left Rear Left Front Right Front Right Rear Assembly of the Surface Burner Heads, Burner Caps and Burner Grates It is very important to make sure that all of the Surface Burner Heads, Surface Burner Caps and Surface Burner Grates are installed correctly and at the correct locations.
9 Operating the Gas Surface Controls: 1. Place cooking utensil on surface burner. 2. Push the surface control knob down and turn counterclockwise out of the OFF position. 3. Release the knob and rotate to the LITE position (see fig.1). Note: All four electronic surface ignitors will spark at the same time.

11 Arranging W arm & Serve Drawer Rac k P ositions The rack can be used in 2 ways: • In the upright position to allow low profile food items to be placed both under and on top of the rack (for example, rolls or biscuits on top of the rack and a casserole dish underneath).
12 Cooking Informations Oven Baking For best cooking results, heat the oven before baking cookies, breads, cakes, pies or pastries, etc. The cooking times and temperatures needed to bake a product may vary slightly from your previously owned appliance.
13 Broiler Pan Grid Broiling Broiling is a method of cooking tender cuts of meat by direct heat under the broil element of the oven. Preheating Preheating is suggested when searing rare steaks. (Remove the broiler pan before preheating. Foods will stick if placed on hot metal.
