9 Installation instruc tions F astening the cooktop to the bench This cooktop is suppled with fast ening brackets (and screws) that will c ope with a bench thickness of 20-50 mm. For benches thicker than 50 mm, r ecess the underside to a thickness of 20-50 mm.
10 Installation instruc tions Special requirements f or C G604 and CG905DWFC models Gas connection to these cooktops MUST use the elbow supplied . The regulator will not seal if installed without it. Ensure the fibre washer (supplied) is locat ed between the elbow (supplied) and cookt op gas inlet (F ig.
11 Installation instruc tions Leak -testing and flame -testing the cookt op Impor tant! The operation of the c ooktop, including the ignition system, m ust be tested before installation is c omplete.
12 Installation instruc tions Con v erting to a different gas type Impor tant! Gas conv ersion may only be c arried out by a suitably qualified person. T o convert from one gas type to another , you need to replac e the injectors and adjust the minimum burner setting.

When con v er ting to LPG, the minimum setting MUST be re-adjusted for each burner . T o adjust the minimum setting, you will need a Ø 2.

17 Contr ol dials The dials contr ol the flow of gas through the valv e. Using the burners Models with auto-reignition (C G905DW A C) 1 Pr ess the selected burner ’ s dial down gently and turn it anti- clockwise to HIGH. The ignitors on all the burners will spark.
18 Using y our c ooktop If a burner does not light T urn the control dial to O (OFF) and wait at least 1 minut e befor e tr ying again. This is to allow the gas to disperse .

21 C ooking guidelines and cookware Using a w ok – models with wok burner Use your w ok only on a wok burner . On C G604CWC, CG604DWFC, and C G905DWFC models, a w ok must always be used with the w ok stand supplied.
22 Car e and cleaning What? How often? How? Impor tant! Stainless steel base After ever y use 1 Soak any stubborn stains under a hot soapy cloth. 2 Wipe the soiling off with a cloth using a mild household detergent or stainless steel cleaner . 3 Wipe with a clean damp cloth.
