3 Safety and warnings Y our DishDra wer has been carefully designed to operate saf ely during normal dishwashing procedures . Please keep the following guidelines in mind when you are using y our DishDrawer®. Please read all instructions bef ore operating the DishDrawer®.

5 Safety and warnings Impor tant safet y prec autions Impor tant! Under no circumstances should you open the dr awer while the DishDrawer® is in operation. Operational Always press the button to pause and wait until you hear the three additional beeps before opening the drawer .
6 Contr ols If you have a double DishDraw er®, each drawer has its own controls and can run independently of the other . P ower button The button turns the DishDrawer® on or off . Opening the drawer will automatically turn the DishDra wer® on for 30 seconds.
7 Contr ols Childlock The Childlock featur e locks the drawer and disables all the buttons on the badge. T o activate, pr ess and hold the button until you hear two beeps (5 seconds).
8 Operation 1 Load dishes Remove all food scraps and load the dishes. 2 Add detergent 3 Check rinse agent 4 Press the button 5 Select a wash program 6 Select (optional) 7 Check Ensure there is nothing obstructing the spray arm. The drain filter must be level with the filter plate.
9 W ash progr am char t Standard wash progr am - when to use Heavy Heavily soiled pots, pans and dishes. Normal Dishes with normal soils for optimum wash and dry performance. F ast Lightly soiled dishes. Delicate Lightly soiled and heat sensitive crockery .
10 Caring f or your dinner war e The combination of high temperatur es and dishwasher detergent may cause damage to some items if they are washed in a dish washer . Remember , if in any doubt about any aspect concerning items washed in the DishDraw er®, follow the instructions from the manufacturer of the items, or wash the item b y hand.
11 Dishw asher standards test The DishDrawer®s ar e tested to various standards for both wash and dry per formance . 12 The inserts and racks can be added or removed to suit your individual needs. If you ha ve the double DishDrawer® model , some of the accessories are interchangeable between the two draw ers. For example you can combine the two Mega Racks into one drawer and wash all cups and glasses , leaving the other drawer f or plates and larger items.
13 Ac cessories Cup r acks Cups, glasses and kitchen utensils can be placed on the left and right hand side of the cup racks. F or best per formance ensure there ar e no large items below , blocking the wash water from reaching the cup racks. Wine glasses can be supported on the cup racks if used in conjunction with the Mega rack .
14 Loading US CA W ash water for the DishDrawer® comes fr om the spray arm which is situated inside the base of the drawer . The spray arm r otates, pr oviding wash water t o all areas of the wash co.
15 Loading How NO T to load your DishDra wer® Overcrow ded and wash water will not reach some of the dinnerware. Cups, glasses and bo wls must have their openings facing down. The plates are nesting t ogether and wash water may not get through. Ensure cutlery are not nesting or stuck together .

18 Rinse agent dispenser W e highly recommend the regular use of liquid rinse agent to giv e the best dr ying results. Rinse agent gives a streak fr ee, sparkling clean look to glass and chinaware, in addition it prevents metal fr om tarnishing. The rinse agent dispenser is on the inside of each drawer , located underneath the detergent dispenser .
19 Option adjustments The following options can be adjust ed to suit your prefer ences. Rinse Agent setting Reduce the Rinse agent setting if there is excess f oam after a wash program. Increase the Rinse agent setting if dishes are wet or streaky after a wash program.

22 Cleaning the drain filter , spray arm and filter plate W e recommend that the drain filter is cleaned whenever there is evidence of f ood par ticles. The spray arm and filter plate ma y need cleaning about once a month in normal use or more often should the need arise.

Lift from the back end first to prevent knocking the detergent and rinse agent dispenser .
