EAN800A/EAN800A W 7 3. ACCESSING THE CAMERA MENU Step 1.S tart an Internet Explorer browser . Step 2. Enter the IP address or host na me of the camera in the Location/A ddress field of your Internet Explorer browser . (Please refer to EAN800A /EAN800A W Installation Guide for how to find the IP address) Step 3.

EAN800A/EAN800A W 19 4.3.4 SMTP/FTP Set SMTP The settings relat ing to the mail s erver used to send the e- mail notification from the camera to predefined add resses via SMTP can be configured. SMTP Server: Enter the IP address or the host name of the SMTP server used to send e-mails .

EAN800A/EAN800A W 21 4.3.5 Network Alarm (reserved for PowerCon) Set Network Alar m This function is reserved for PowerCon software, for the detail setting please refer to PowerCon network alarm protocol.
EAN800A/EAN800A W 22 4.3.6 Wir eless (EAN800A W) W ireless Setting Enable: Check the box to enable wireless connection. SSID: Name of the wireless network the camera. The fie ld accepts up to 32 alphanumeri c characters. The name mus t be exactly the same as the us ed in the wireless access point or the conn ection will not be established.
EAN800A/EAN800A W 23 WP A (W i-Fi Pr otected A ccess) key should follow either one of the following rules: - As 64 hexadecimal (0-9, A-F) characters. - As 8 to 63 ASCII characters. WEP (W ired Equivalent Protection) key sho uld follow either one of the following rules: - As 5 characters for 64-bit WEP and 13 characte rs for 128-bit WEP .
EAN800A/EAN800A W 24 St ream Setting The system can output 4 video stream s simultaneously . For each of them, user can set compression for mat, resolution, quality and frame rate individually . Stream 1 is always enabled for live view . Check “Enable” box to enable other streams.
EAN800A/EAN800A W 25 4.4.2 Camera Image setting Hue : to in crease or decrease hue of video images. It is adjustable from 0~255. Contrast : to increase or decrease object contrast of i mages. It is adjustable fro m 0~255. Saturation : to increase or decrease color saturation of video images.
EAN800A/EAN800A W 26 BLC : Select ON or OFF for Backlight Compensat ion. ON: When the background of the subject is very bright and the subject itself is dark , set the BLC ON . The BLC will mea sure the lig ht of the image center and the lens iris will auto matically set for optimu m image quality .
EAN800A/EAN800A W 27 4.5 Audio The EAN800A/EAN800A W camera can transmit audio to other clients using a built-in microphone or connecting to external microphone to play audio received from other clients via connected speakers. This s ection describes how to configure the basic audio settings.
EAN800A/EAN800A W 28 4.6 USER User Information Maximum 10 users can be set for using the IP camera. The user information displays the authorized users and acc ess levels: • Sup ervisor/Administrator –a supervisor/administrator has unrestricted access to the Setting menu and can determine the registration of all other users.
EAN800A/EAN800A W 29 4.7 EVENT An event in the camera is when an Ev ent T y pe is activated and causes cert ain actions to be performed. The e vent type is the set of conditions that specifies how and when which actions will be performed. This table describes how to setup action types and event ty pe.

Press Apply to apply the setting changes or Reset to res et without saving the change.
