Carefully open the box and remove the top protective foam padding. Remove the following: • 1:15 Blu-ray/DVD/CD T ower Publisher SLS • 2 Power Cords • 1 USB 2.
www .aleratec.com 8 Overview LightScribe Software Installation Minimum System Requirements: PC running W indows 2000, XP , V ista or 7 1. Install the Aleratec File System Manager . First write down the key code labeled “Product Key” on the front of the disc and then put the disc into your PC.
www .aleratec.com 9 Overview c. Click Install to complete the installation. 3. Connect the 1:15 to your PC with the USB cable. 4. Make sure the 1:15 is in USB mode. Press the “USB” fastkey on the control panel on the front of the 1:15. If the screensaver is on you may have to press the button twice.
www .aleratec.com 10 Overview 6. After the 1:15 T ower Publisher SLS has rebooted, go to “My Computer” in W indows and look to see if the HDD is there. It will be labeled as “Duplicator”. 7. If you open the drive location you will see three or four folders.
www .aleratec.com 1 1 Overview Using the LightScribe Labeling Software The following procedure demonstrates using the LightScribe T emplate Labeler to generate the label les (.lsi) used by the Stand-Alone T ower Publisher SLS. 1. Launch the LightScribe T emplate Labeler .

After the device has completed the start up process, press the “Print” fast key (also menu option 2) on the main menu of the duplicator and push the ENT key .

Due to the nature of simultaneous disc duplication, a good quality Master Disc and lower recording speeds maybe necessary to ensure high success and quality duplications rates.

Load a master disc to the HDD if it is not already loaded and make sure Source is set to the Hard Drive. 2. Go back to “COPY” Menu. a. Use UP or DOWN arrow button to navigate to the following screen.

(It will still count the number of copies, but it will not notify you when to stop.) T o select the “No Counter”, simply press ENT button when you see the screen above.

By default, the duplication speed will be set to the optimal speed. However , under some circumstances, you might want to lower the duplication speed.

There are two dif ferent modes, “Disc at Once” and “Track at Once”. Unless you understand completely what they mean, we strongly suggest you to set it as “Disc at Once”.
