Installation • This appliance is h eavy. Care should be taken when moving it. • When unpacking the appliance, check that it is not damaged. If in doubt, do not use it and contact the Service Centre. • All packing and transit bolts must be re- moved before use.
Product description Your new appliance meets all modern requir ements for effective treatm ent of laundr y with low water, energy and detergent consum ption. Its new washing system allows total use of detergent and reduces wate r consumption so saving energy.
Detergent dispenser drawer Compartment for detergent used for pre- wash and soak phase or for stain remover used during the stain action phase (if availa- ble). The prewash and soak detergent is added at the beginning of the wash pro- gramme. The stain remover is added during the stain action phase.

Display 7.4 7.5 7.1 7.2 7.3 The display shows the following information: 7.1: • Duration of the selected programme After selecting a programme, the duration is displayed in hours and minutes (for ex- ample 2.05 ). The duration is calculated automatically on the basis of th e maximum recommended load for each type of fabric.
First use • Ensure that the electrical and water connections comply with the installa- tion instructions. • Remove the polystyrene block and any material from the drum. • Pour 2 liters of water into the main wash compartment of the deter- gent drawer in or der to activate the ECO valve.
If required, pour fabric softener into the com- partmen t marked (the amount used must not exceed the «MAX» mark in the drawer). Close the drawer gently. Select the required programme by turning the programme selector dial (1) Turn the programme selector dial to the re- quired programme.
– The programme will start after the se- lected delay has expired. Cancelling the delayed start after having pressed button 8 : 1. Set the washing machine to PAUSE by pressing button 8 . 2. Press button 6 once until the symbol 0’ is displayed 3. Press button 8 again to start the pro- gramme.
Press the button again to restart the pro- gramme. Cancelling a programme Turn the selector dial to to cancel a pro- gramme which is running. You can select now a new programme.
• DO NOT lean on the top and, espe- cially, DO NOT lean on the shelf when it is open, because it could be dam- aged. In any case, if the top or the shelf are damaged, DO NOT try to fix them by your self. Contact your local Service Centre. • DO NOT place detergent, bleach or fabric softener co ntainers on top of the appliance.

2. Press the ACTIVA TE button to activate the drying board. The integrated light of the START butt on starts blinking. 3. On the base of the kind of fabric and the moisture degree, select the degree of dryness by pressing the DRYING DE- GREE button until the r e levant pilot light goes on.
Rub particularly soiled areas with a special detergent or detergent paste. Treat curtains with special care. Remove hooks or tie t hem up in a bag or net.
Your appliance incorpor ates a recirculation system which allows an optimal use of the concentrated detergent. Follow the product manufacturer’s recom- mendations on quanti ties to use and do not exceed the «MAX» mark in the detergent dispenser drawer .

according to the soften ing powder manufac- turer's instructions. This will help to prevent the formation of lime deposits. After each wash Leave the door open fo r a while. This helps to prevent mould and st agnant smells form- ing inside the appliance.
Washing drum Rust deposits in the drum may occur due to rusting foreign bodies in the washing or tap water containing iron. Important! Do not clean the drum with acidic descaling agen ts, scouring agents containing chlorine or iron or steel wool. 1. Remove any rust deposits on the drum with a cleaning agent for stainless steel.
6. When no more water comes ou t, un- screw the pump cover, using a pliers, and remove the filter. Always keep a rag nearby to dry up spillage of water when removing the cover. 1 2 7. Remove any objects from the pump im- peller by rotating it. 8. Replace the filter in to the pump paying attention to insert it properly.
Warning! When the appliance is in use and depending on the programme selected there can be hot water in the pump. Nev er remove the pump cove r during a wash cycle, always wait until the appliance has finished the cycle, and is empty.
What to do if... Certain problems are due to lack of simple maintenance or oversights, which can be solved easily without ca lling out an engineer. Before contacting your local Service Centre, please carry out the checks listed below.

Too much items have been put on the board or they have been put one upon another. • Dry the items separately, spr eading them out comp letely and without covering one with another.

• With adequate pre-treatment, stains and limited soiling can be removed; the laundry can then be washed at a lower tempera- ture. • Measure out detergen t according to the water hardness, the degree of soiling and the quantity of laundry being washed.
