4 Oper ating Instructions 1 Safety Prior to using for the first time • Follow the ”Instructions for installa tion and connection” . Corr ect Use • The dishwasher is only intend ed for washing domestic dishes. • Additions or modifications to th e dishwasher are not permitted.

6 The Pr ogramme buttons ar e used to select the desired dishwashing cycle. Function buttons : In addition to the pre-set dishwashing cycle, the fol- lowing functions can also be set using these buttons: The multi-display can indicate: – the level of hardness to which the water softener is set.
7 Prior to Using for the First Time 1. Set the water softener 2. Fill up with dishwasher salt 3. Fill up with rinse aid 3 If you wish to use 3in1 detergent, do the f ollowing: – First r ead the section “Using 3in1 deter gents” . – Switch on th e dishwasher , pr ess 3i n1 button.
8 Press function buttons 2 and 3 simultaneously for appr ox. 2 seconds. All additional wash pr ogramme button indicator s will go out. 2. Press function buttons 2 and 3 simultaneously and keep them pr essed. The LED indicators for function buttons 1 to 3 will flash.
9 Adding dishwasher Salt To decalcify the water softener , it must be filled up with dishwasher salt. Use only special salt suitable for domestic dishwashers. If you do not use 3 in1 detergent, fill up with dishwasher salt: – Before using the dishwasher for the fir st time.
10 Filling Up with Rinse Aid Rinse aid causes the rinse water to flow easily from the crockery leav- ing gleaming dishes and glassware. If you do not use 3in1 detergent, fill up with rinse aid: – Before using the dishwasher for the fir st time. – When the control indicator for rinse aid is illuminated on the contr ol panel.
11 Setting the Amount of Rinse Aid Requir ed 3 Only change the amount dispensed, if smears, milky spots (r educe the amount) or dried on water spots (inc rease the amount) can be seen on glasses and dishes. (See section “I f dishwashing results ar e not satisfac- tory” .
12 Activating/Deactivating the Rinse Aid dispenser If the 3 in1 button is pressed, you do not need to deactivate the rinse aid dispenser . 1. Press the ON/OFF button. 3 If indicators for the pr ogramme buttons ar e lit, a dishwashing cycle is activated.
13 In daily use Loading cutlery and dishes 1 Sponges, cleaning cloths and any other objects that can absorb water must not be washed in the dishwash er . Plastic and Teflon-coated dishes and pans tend to retain water dr oplet s. These dishes and pans therefor e do not dry as well as those made of china and stainless steel.
14 Loading cutlery 1 War n in g : Sharp knives and other items of cutlery with sharp edges must be laid in the cutlery rack or in the upper basket to avoid the risk of injury .
15 To m ak e i t e as ie r to lo ad la rge r d is h- es, the two plate racks on the right in the lower basket can be folded down. Cups, Glasses, Coffee Service Load smaller , fragile cr ockery and long, sharp cutlery in the upper bas- ket.
16 Adjusting the Height of the Upper Basket 3 The height of the baskets can also be adjusted when they are loaded. Raising/Lowering the Upper Bas- ket 1. Pull out the upper basket complete- ly . 2. Raise the upper basket as far as it will go and then l ower it vertically .
17 Adding Deter gent Detergents r emove the dirt fr om dishes and cutlery . The detergent must be added befor e the cycle starts. 1 Only use detergent intended for do- mestic dishwasher s. The detergent compartment is lo- cated on the inside of the door .
18 Concentr ated detergents To day’s detergents for dishwasher s ar e almost exclusively low-alkaline concentrated deter gents with natu ral enzymes in tablet or powder form.

20 Starting a Dishwashing Cycle 1. Check that the spray arms can turn fr eely . 2. Turn the water tap on fully . 3. Close the door . 4. Press the ON/OFF button. 5. Select the desired cycle. The progr amme indicator comes on. The remaining time expected for the cycle will be shown in the multi-display .
21 Setting the Delay Timer 3 With the delay timer you can delay th e start of a dishw ashing cycle for between 1 and 19 hours. 1. Press the Delay Timer button r epeat edly until the multi-display shows the desired time delay , for example 12h , if the cycle is to start in 12 hours.
22 Car e and cleaning 1 Do not use furnitur e care pr oducts or aggressive cleaners. • When necessary , clean the dishwasher’s controls with a soft cloth. • Occasionally check the internal dispensers, door seal and water inlet filter (if fitted) for dirt and clean them, if necessary .
23 What to do if... Remedying small malfunctions If one of the following fault codes is displayed in the multi-display dur- ing operation: – Fau lt co de Å1 0 (Problems with water inlet), – Fau lt co de Å2 0 (Problems with water dr ainage), please have a look at the following table.
24 The cycle indicator for the selected dish washing cycle is flashing, fault code Å2 0 is dis- played in the multi-dis- play . (Problems w ith water drain age) The sink spigot connection is blocked. Clean the sink spigot outlet . Wat er dra in ho se has not been correctly posi- tioned.
25 If the Dishwashing Resu lts ar e not Satisfactory The dishes are still dirty . • The wrong dishwashing cycle was selected. • The dishes were loaded is such a way that the dishwashing water did not re ach all items. The baskets for the dishes must not be overload- ed.
26 Disposal 2 Packaging material The packaging materials are envir onm entall y friendly and can be r ecy- cled. The plastic components are id entified by markings, e.g. >PE<, >PS<, etc. Please dispose of the pa ckaging materials in the appr opriate container at your local wa ste disposal facili ties.
27 Notes for T est Institutes Testing in accor dance with EN 60 7 04 must be carried out with the appliance fully loaded and using the test cycle (see “Cycle Table”).

29 Installation and connection instructions 1 Safety Information for the Installation • Only transport the dishwasher in an upright position, otherwise salt water may run out. • Before using the dishwasher f or the fir st ti me, check for any damage caused in transport.
30 Installing the Dishwasher • The dishwasher must be installed on a firm floor and adjusted to en- sure that it is stable and level in all directions. • To compensate for unevenness in the floor and to match the height of the appliance to that of sur- rounding units, extend the thr ead- ed feet using a screwdriver .
31 Fr ee-standing appliances 1 If the dishwasher is installed direct ly next to a cooker , a heat-insulat- ing, non-flammable panel (laminated with aluminium foil on the side next to the cooker) must be fitted flush with the to p edge of the work surface (depth 57.
32 Connecting the dishwasher Connecting to the water supply • The dishwasher can be connected to cold and hot water supplies up to max. 60°C. • The dishwasher must not be connec te d to open hot water appliances or instantaneous water heaters.
33 W ater drainage Drain hose 1 The drain h ose must not be kinked, crushed or entangled. 34 Anti-flood system For protection fr om water damage, the dishwasher is equipped with a anti-flood system. In the event of a fault, the safety valve in the water inlet hose immedi- ately interrupts the supply of wate r to the appliance and the dr ain pump is activated.
